yvonne, yes i guess we can use it in the dining. The dinining room is small and doesnt have any windows. the kitchen has a lot of natural light that will come across to the dining due to the open kitchen plan. We will be buying new furniture for the dining. We could buy a glass top table with wood chairs / wood table with wood chairs. The room will be painted offwhite similar color as the base of this fabric. All walls will be painted the same color by the builder, Afer taking possession of the house we can repaint it where needed for accent wall etc. Its an appartment, we live in India.

HI RinaI do agree I love jewelbox rooms, but I consider them more cosy ... and with a grey marble floor it goes all Versace Italianate! I am trying to balance the colours by bringing in a pattern on the covers rather than plain. I feel this will bring colour without overpowering the room. In the pictures I showed above, the rooms are basically neutral but the colour is brought in via pattern - I think this might be the way to go...Ideally a green or blue on a subdued grey would be the best, but I dont know what the market is like for Sumit...Cushions can do a lot to tie in the other white/grey elements.Shelley - navy is a good suggestion, but as Sumits area is quite tall and thin, trying to keep the general area light Any more suggestions most welcome. These are just ideas after all and Sumit will choose what works for the room in the end ;-)

Hello Swati, You may first want to decide whether you want the TV to be floor/ ceiling/ wall mounted. The answer will vary based on that. You can buy the swivel online or your nearby TV stores. I think you need to ask yourself some more questions. If you have children - get something that can be cleaned easily. If you have pets that get on the couch - again, get something that can be cleaned easily. Do you want a sofa that can convert into a bed? How humid is your climate - think of the upholstery and possible mold/mildew if the sofa is not in a location where there is good airflow. If you live in a dusty climate, find one that can be wiped or vacuumed easily. MY first consideration is if the couch is comfortable to sit on!
