thank you for your advice, but the leatherite will only be used on the bed back rest and cupboard. The cupboard panel and all around the cupboard will be polish. As per your input, the bed back rest or the whole bed should be darker color ? the cupboard and the bed should be of the same leatherite color ? which color And the whole room should of which polish ?

Lighting plays a huge part in adding depth and warmth to a bedroom. I see that you have a light point just above your bed. Without too much expense you can create panelling up to the ceiling , run the wires behind it, and maybe and add a simple false ceiling along the length of that wall to install recessed lighting. A skilled carpenter can modify the head board and create a dramatic taller tufted headboard within the panelling Another option would be to paint the wall behind the bed and add a simple shelf above. Some recessed lights can be added to light up paintings on the wall just above the bed. The homeowners of the bedroom shown here already had a bed which they did not want to dispose of or modify. So all we did was to add painted pinewood box panelling up to 4 feet height, add a shallow display shelf on it, and add a simple shelf above with recessed lights

Dream home, in my opinion you should go for option 02 for following reasons : You'll get lil open space on entering Larger wardrobe space Direction of study is also correct according to vastu 4.My recommendation on changing a few things.. Move the bed and study minimum 4" away from window for your curtain /roller pelmet Flip the bathroom so that on entering fist thing you see is not the wc and it's the vanity You can make a drawer /ledge (half the depth of wardrobe) next to wardrobe for dresser if need be

Akansha, This clarifies your dilemma. In the given situation you can try the following options. 1- Things to be changed - remove dark colored curtains and back wall paint. Also the sofa needs to go out. 2- A single bedside table where the sofa is there may be useful. A Sleek wardrobe opposite to the bed that should house your TV unit and dressing table. 4- On the head rest wall mirror panelling will help give it more open feel. 5 - Use neutral and pastel colors. 6 - It seems there is some limitations of opening the large window.
