We are renovating our kitchen and I can’t decide if I should put the sink on the kitchen island as opposed to the back wall near the stove where of course there is no possibility of a window. I have always had a window so I’m not sure if in the long run I would miss it. The other option would be to remove the large window 7’ x 5’5” and put a smaller window so that I can put the sink on that side. The designer is saying that the sink in the island would be better just in terms of added cost and I would lose a lot of pantry space if we went the replacement window route. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

the sink should be at 33" from the floor. your countertop height will depend on if you're using a top mounted or insert sink

Hi, there. Your layout sure looks perfect, we would advise you not to make any changes in the plan. But, in the 3D render image we would suggest you to either push the fridge to a lil bit right or left, so you can get a continuous line of upper storage. It would make a good look for the kitchen.
