I think the yellow and grey might bring out the gold-ish-ness of the couch.. I'd try to go with more blue colors.. Maybe some navy pillows and a rug with the blue in it as well. The curtains, that ying-yang rug, and the lilac rug just gotta go.. They're dwarfing all the sophistication this room will be able to have with that tile floor and those big beautiful windows. I love the dining room chairs!

Then look around Houzz, in the products page, they have lots of interior sliding doors and hinged ones, from elegant frosted glass in a dark wood frame, to rustic reclaimed wood planks. You may not want to purchase that exact model, but it might give you a better idea of what would fulfill your airflow needs without sacrificing style.

Do they have to be paint buckets? I would think they would not be good for gardening? Maybe others will know more about that. But in the U.S. you can get 5 gallon buckets from some local businesses like bakeries, food store chains, places like those that regularly use items they get in the buckets. For instance a bakery usually gets stuff in 5 gallon buckets and often has to throw them into a dumpster as they can only save so many. Some businesses now sell them for a small fee, maybe 1 dollar U.S. each and some just give them away. I think the cost of shipping them to India would be more than the cost of buying them. You could try setting up a fund on Kiva.org and possibly get enough donations to purchase food grade buckets instead of using ones from paint. the pictures you see online of glass walls and roofs are those not from India. and the usually have a large property and the home itself is secluded enough to provide privacy. for heat, they have a centrally controlled HVAC system that is on 24x7 to regulate heat and cold, plus the glass is often reflective and double, to provide a modicum of insulation. since you're a resident of Hyderabad, it would be more advisable to have just a skylight or just large french doors and not got for the entire combination. hope this helps
