Laminate! (There are very good-looking ones nowadays that look and feel remarkably like wood.)

Tiles! They are waterproof and long lasting material. Something like hardwood floor you might not want to look for, because the water will leak down and cause damages.

Tiles and hardwood are both slippery for smaller dogs so do you dog a favor and put down area and throw rugs so won't slip.

The most appropriate floors for an incontinent animals = sheet vinyl, sheet linoleum, porcelain, ceramic, stone. All of these are 100% water proof. Anything else runs the risk of the urine entering into the floor/subfloor and staining/leaving traces of urine = leaves and odour.

Laminate would be one of the LAST floors I would look into for an incontinent animal. It holds moisture and odour like a sponge. If you wish to use laminate, then go with the $0.89/sf stuff and expect to replace it as soon as your dog has passed on to the next level of existance.

Even planked vinyl (click together, loose lay or glue down) has problems with urine getting into the cracks/between planks and causing permanent odour/damage.
