Stained knotty pine?

The knotty pine on the ceiling took that color really well, something I've not really known pine to do. Any secret? Do you know the stain color and brand?

The ceiling is smooth cedar. We chose cedar because it will stain more evenly than pine and is fairly economical. The beams are fir. Unfortunately, I don't have a record of the stain color. I recall it's a Sherwin Williams stain but I'm not certain which one.

Wow, thanks for the reply after many years. Yes, cedar makes more sense for that color. Sorry - the knots looked a lot pine from this distance.
