Hi Manish, 1- Runners are a better value for money than telescopic channels. Channels have a better load bearing, and have a lock which does not let the unit fall even if pulled nearly out. If you don't see these two as you requirements you can go for runners. Check the load requirements and get a suitable load runner/channel. If you foresee some drawer to be quite heavy then telescopic/quadro/tandem boxes will be better. 2. PVC boards as such do not have any drawbacks for use in kitchen. Just make sure your guys have worked with them earlier. 3. Wire frame baskets are lighter, readymade, readily available and provide more space and also require lesser work. If you are more of a detail cleaner then it will definitely require more efforts for others it requires lesser efforts for cleaning them. It's a subjective opinion. Many thanks for your valuable comments. 1. My intention of raised cabinets was to clean it daily, as cabinets that touch floor accumulate lot of dust and food particles below. If we rule out steel legs, any inputs on raised floor only of cabinet area and then cabinets?(Just like plinth in modular cabinets- but this will be permanent and of tiles) I have not seen such structure anywhere, so curious if it will work. Otherwise I will go with traditional ones. 2. Moving pooja out of kitchen is very difficult as other rooms are just enough for their function. Currently a small Mandir is attached on wall where Fridge is shown in layout. I thought the new area could be little extra for all pooja related things. Will like to know the reason of your recommendation, is it odd in whole design, or not suitable in area .. or anything else? How about moving it to corner of dining area?

Veneer with White PU is a great Option. Alternatively you can go with Duco which is slightly cheaper than PU. Laminates always have a sharp edge unless done with the right expertise. Fabrics, if going with white, should be scotch-guarded. Mostly, white PU will work on table tops too, but if you want to use a sturdy option, go for white lacquered glass or White marble.
