Brown Green and Pink
Comments (10)I think that you need mostly white, but something in a print that incorporates your colors. Perhaps pillow slips or at least a mostly pea green painting/poster/wall-hanging that also has some brown, perhaps in the frame. You could also do a stencil on the pink wall using the green paint, some white, and some brown. How about a nice tree branch? You can also buy vinyl decals from Etsy or other places--not sure that you could get pea green, but brown and white should be available....See MoreWhere can I use this applique work
Comments (7)yvonne, yes i guess we can use it in the dining. The dinining room is small and doesnt have any windows. the kitchen has a lot of natural light that will come across to the dining due to the open kitchen plan. We will be buying new furniture for the dining. We could buy a glass top table with wood chairs / wood table with wood chairs. The room will be painted offwhite similar color as the base of this fabric. All walls will be painted the same color by the builder, Afer taking possession of the house we can repaint it where needed for accent wall etc. Its an appartment, we live in India....See MoreNeed help for my living room attached with kitchen
Comments (9)Embrace the arches and keep it light, but add some contrast. Paint every wall with an arch in it fresh white, all ceilings too. Paint the adjecent walls a soft color. For example; when you keep the kitchen tile, you could paint the walls above it a soft pink or mauve. I see three open areas, so you could divide those with three soft colors and white inbetween. Keep most lights simple and functional, uplights will enhance the arches, glass pendants will add warmth. And I think a soft olive or sage green is a great color for a living room....See MoreNeed help with my living room
Comments (24)You don't have to give up your beloved pink. Pink, brown and grey are doable. I googled pink and grey living room and saw some great pictures. Maybe get a large carpet that pulls out the pink (must match the same shade of pink). Then place your beautiful little pink and cream Kashmir(?) carpet over it. Also pull that same pink into sofa pillows. And a similar pink and brown Tablecloth for the dining table will pull the colours together. Just need to make sure all the pinks are the same shade with small accents/border of the same brown and grey from the sofa. Solid colours or subtle designs will be easier to coordinate than bold dramatic prints. These 2 are not the right shade of pink but you get the idea, I hope. Carpets with tone on tone pattern. A dusty rose on one wall would be nice too....See MoreLauren Janssen
