Comments (6)Hi Nitin, Thanks for the valuable suggestion, but can you have some brief on why BWP ply-boar and why not BWR, majorly what is the difference amongst them, And you are telling for lamination, lamination of what (pvc lamination you are talking about) or some other, if pvc lamination then i heard and googled that pvc lamination color will get dull after some time and scratches can occur, whether we are having other lamination options which can resist long period of time. please majorly not consider price as blocker, i am going to Reno after 20 years so it would be the best from my side, please suggest consider durability, no dullness in color, and with strong panels. Comments (2)closed wooden and mdf wardrobes are not in trend these days. If you have a good collection of clothes it is in trend to display them in open closets and drawers. If you do want to close to avoid dust, Lacquered glass/ frosted glass sliding doors are the current trend....See Morekitchen cabinet pls suggest
Comments (8)1. solid wood Better used in bed cottage, door , window frames and dining table. 2. MDF light weight non water usage places with good lamination applicable. 3. laminated plywood quick working cupboard pasting time reduce but cost is very high. Main advantage is machine pasting good finish. 4. Plywood + lamination /mica Major category Water proof plywood (Bwp /BWR) grade 710 commercial Moisture resistance (MR) grade 303 For kitchen where ever water usage use water proof plywood with 1mm laminate good pasting used maximum base unit with fitting zone. Non usage water places wall unit and loft unit use MR grade ply wood no need BWR and Bwp plywood. Also reduce cost. Wardrobe Use Mr grade plywood . main consider door plywood no bend and double side laminate for stability. Comments (24)Dear Vinod, That's what happens when you give a project to a carpenter cause they view it as the single element and can't imagine where and how it is going on with the space around. "They literally don't care" except the money they save in that project. As the wardrobe is glossy and dark gray you have to make-over everything in that room to makle it look better. So better go for removing it which is more economical, and if your wardrobe is done with solid wood or timber just go for wood finish paints (veener/varnish/some other) or else go for duco paint or any other that can be applied on it. But BETTER consult a Designer or an Architect to those kind of works not carpenter or some vender. And lastly remove that funky looking overhead outcrop. Have a nice day...See More- 9 years ago
