wet/dry sauna in combination with infrared

I would like to know if it is advised to build a wet/dry sauna with infrared panels? I too, would like the look and feel of the traditional sauna and rocks but with the benefit of the infrared panels. Has there been any issues? Can you confirm that the sauna was built with the water barrier and proper insulating components and the infrared panels will withstand the added steam and moisture? Who built/installed it? Where did you purchase the infrared panels from?

There are no issues as of yet. Yes the sauna has a visqueen waterbarrier and insulated walls. McKean Construction built it in Santa Barbara. The infrared panel was purchased in San Francisco

Thanks for your reply. Are you pleased with the combination or in hindsight would you have went with only an infrared or only a wet/dry sauna?
