Having a big mirror facing you could keep you engaged before sleeping and may thus cause a little late sleeping. However, we don't throw out the mobile for the same reason ..do we ;) While you are not in a deep sleep and if you suddenly get up (your senses are only half awake) first thing you see is a reflection of yourself and that too in a dishevelled condition it may startle, shock or even scare you depending on the lighting condition.
