I've inherited this house and started some renovation work. My problem is how to decorate the living cum dining area. The colour palette in my mind is beige and orange as The highlight. On wall 1 I would like to put the tv. But I don't how how to arrange my chairs and sofa and the dining table which we r yet to buy. The 4th wall shows the kitchen door. This room will be mainly used as a family room and to entertain very close friends. As we have a formal sitting area downstairs. Please help me with your valuable suggestions. The pictures from the Houzz are for reference . However I'm unable to upload any more pictures from my gallery. Sorry for that .

I will suggest you to start with Bathrooms first. get the plumbing and water proofing checked. once you are clear that all the system is in place, depending on what look you want your bathrooms to be , you can consult an interior designer for material palate and designing. once your ideas are translated in drawings , you can get the civil and sanitary work done and you are good to go. For kitchen , just outsource it to modular kitchen guys, they will ask you your needs and how you want to set up your kitchen, they will take measurements and prepare a design / plans etc. and give you their material palate.. you can pick and choose your Colors and mood boards and within a month the assembling will be done and your kitchen will be ready.

Many thanks for your valuable comments. 1. My intention of raised cabinets was to clean it daily, as cabinets that touch floor accumulate lot of dust and food particles below. If we rule out steel legs, any inputs on raised floor only of cabinet area and then cabinets?(Just like plinth in modular cabinets- but this will be permanent and of tiles) I have not seen such structure anywhere, so curious if it will work. Otherwise I will go with traditional ones. 2. Moving pooja out of kitchen is very difficult as other rooms are just enough for their function. Currently a small Mandir is attached on wall where Fridge is shown in layout. I thought the new area could be little extra for all pooja related things. Will like to know the reason of your recommendation, is it odd in whole design, or not suitable in area .. or anything else? How about moving it to corner of dining area?
