Kitchen design nightmare

What should we do with this step. We are currently redesigning our kitchen and knocking through to the utility room so we have one open space which will enable us to have a dining table. As the kitchen and utility room are on two different levels can you suggest how we get around this step (we thought about lowering the kitchen floor to bring to the same level but not able to do that)

Can't you just level it out? It's hard to tell from the photo but you could mix up some yourself and lose the lip

install a floating floor to bring it up to the same level as the kitchen floor.

Hello Gopi, Moving the hob towards the center will bring it too close to the sink. Will not be an ideal placement. You can move it too wall 3 centre though (if that is possible as a window is there). There are slight issues, the corner drawers and doors will hit each other when opened. How are you hiding your chimney duct. Please talk to your designer/vendor about these. Thanks. hi , i have designed more than 60 kitchens and with my experience it's extremely difficult to cook with stove in the corner of moved a bit to the right it would end up too close to the sink if the space is less and whatever you wash there are chances that it may fall into the cooking bowl .it would really help if you let me know the measurements of that wall . Hello, You should choose BWP ply of reputed brands such as century or austinply, as the kitchen to more prone moisture do not compromise on the quality. For shutters of the cabinets choose HDHMR to avoid undulations.
