Dytecture, I see you have the same idea I was going to post! Put that dining table close to kitchen's open wall! I mean who wants to get up from the table to use "the facilities" with everyone sitting right there? I was thinking of flipping the placement of the tv unit and one of the sofas. Back of sofa would create a sort of hallway into the bathroom. That way no problem with plugging tv in, hiding cords, etc. Cozy it up with choice of wall paint, art, area rugs, plants. Enjoy! PS: Add a small metal bistro table with a couple of chairs to the patio area. That is also great living space.

With your original pictures - I agree with larger rug. But I don't agree with comments suggesting the rooms are monochromatic. They are lively indeed. I think you are just missing some accessories! Art work on the empty walls - even just a single large dramatic piece is in order. In the bedroom on the white wall, in the living space behind the sofa, in the greenish bedroom behind the two beds. Those are instant areas where you can improve. But I think your spaces are lovely and well put together. Also I agree with the comment about table lamps - some of those would really add something, and your coffee table looks so empty - maybe just one gorgeous bowl, or stack some books. These rooms are 90% done in my opinions, just need a few finishing touches. Some of my rooms come out like this because the clients are not willing to pay for those last few finish items or feel they can do that part themselves...

You can work with your currant wall color or go more yellow - that is up to you. If you do decide to go more yellow. get some small inexpensive sample bottles at the paint store, paint some poster board and hang it on a wall for couple of days because getting the right buttery yellow can be hard. A soft yellow and lavender is pretty together but I also like the sea green. When you said a combo of modern and cottage - that made me think of beach cottages, which often have soft colors (including sea green) and unfussy, calm interiors. You can put a large painting up if you have the wall space for it. Many bedrooms have tall chest, dresser mirror, tall headboard and big TV, all which take up wall space. If you can hang the painting without it being crowded by any of the things I mentioned, it should look very nice. If you wish to do a curtain fabric treatment to a wall and you have the vision of what you want - then go for it. I had a friend who did that in collage - only problem was the yards and yards of fabric needed got rather expensive. So, I would start with finding bedding you love. Simple white is good, and not too expensive. However, you might find something else light that you love, or a quilt or throw for the bottom of the bed and the colors and shades might lead you in a different direction for wall color or accents. So bedding first, then curtains, then see how your wall color is and then add accents and art - although your painting can also be an inspiration for colors.

hi u can choose the wall in front of your bed and i suggest u to paint it with charcoal gray or navy blue nd put some motivational quotes and the things u want to have in future or the places u want to go so it will become a dream wall or vision board whatever u want to call it plus it will be a focal point of a bedroom too nd i recommend u to have those quotes nd picture frames in black and white so it will add the beauty of the painted wall behind and also it wont look shabby.
