HELP! I have a old house with a harvest gold tub, and toilet yuck! But I can't afford to change them out right now so I love the color grey. But red black and white as well is there a way to incorporate these colors into these two rooms?
Grey and Gold are beautiful together. This is one of my favorite photos on houzz, and I bet you could pull something like this off in your bathroom. Only, your tub can be the accent instead of the furniture!
Yes, using grey as an accent color would look wonderful. It is also a timeless, neutral color; so, when you do decide to change out your gold tub & toilet, the grey could be combined with a new accent color & still look great. Grey is also a very versatile color. You could use it in a more permanent way--such as in your tile, wallpaper, or paint--or simply through smaller details, as seen in the photo above with towels, curtains, or a rug.
