need desperate help for my living room
Comments (8)Empty the room. I like your carpet, that could be the starting point for colour choice. It's difficult to figure out the room but I think the rug should be pulled out to the centre of the room. Paint room a warm sand colour. I don't know if the TV can be moved, but you have to find a way to hide the wires. If the sofa can have its back to the doors it would take away the attention to the doors . I'll let you con cider this:-)...See Moreneed help for my building elevation jali work, need lots of jali
Comments (4)The architects have spoken. I have worked on a couple of building in India somewhat similar and know that this is well liked and fairly common. It does need to simplify but you can do this with color so that the parts introduce themselves not all at once, but with a sense importance relative to the massing. With deft coloring you can give balance and you can make the parts feel like they belong to a whole. There is no need to be simple in the Meisian sense. Lots going on can be quite nice. But with a detailed building as with a person, when you meet them you don't need to know everything about them, see the baby pictures, see the scars from their latest operations. No, you just want the person or building to make a good first impression. Then later as you get to spend some time with them and get to know them you can discover all their intricacies....See MoreNeed help with my living room
Comments (138)Leather sofas can really dominate the room and can give an overall cold feeling. I would add some earthy elements, like a wood coffee table with glass or metal. Go to Restoration Hardware's website and look at their sofa room scenes. And I'm sorry I think the art is too harsh for the room. That's all your eye goes to in the room. too overpowering. I would look for something softer or maybe a cool mirror and I would add color to the room with pillows and some colorful lamps. I also think woven blinds would look great. They add warmth and give a finished look. The color of your window treatments should contrast your wall color a bit, not match it or else it starts to look generic and blah.. You have warm walls, warm floors and the woven blinds, like Hunter Douglas brand would pull it all together for you....See Morehai guys i need help for my entrance designs.i want simple n good....
