You will get huge "orange/yellow" cast off lighting. Anything else you put in there will look as if it is under an orange camping "tarp". Not a great look. As a human, you will probably look like you are in the last stages of liver failure. Honestly. Your skin will take on a strong yellow/orange tone while you are in the area. Not many people can handle that type of colouring. Orange is powerful. You only need a tiny bit to make a huge statement. You only need a lot to make a huge mistake.

Thank you Shalaka ! I do love it the way it is but since the windowstart are ceiling to floor and facing West, in summers it becomes a furnace. Hence the need for double curtains. So wanted to get something that when needed if I tie the front cream ones from the back when they show, it looks nice. While my husband liked orange, I was leaning towards, gold. So we decided to put it for vote. Thank you for your input :-)

hi! it depends on your laminated on the shutter, I suggest play around with light wooden texture laminate and white in the entire kitchen. keep the entrance panel in light wooden laminate. attaching some pics for your reference of the general colour scheme that you can follow
