Sofa upholstery

We are planning to get our living room sofa manufactured and my wife and I aren't able to decide if we should pick a plain upholstery or one with some motif. The sofa design is going to be like the attached reference picture - 5 seat + 2 seat + 2 seat.

Please advice.

I like the fabric on that sofa, but for a 5 seat + 2 seat + 2 seat... it will be a lot of pattern.
I'd go for plain fabric on the two 2 seaters and a pattern on the 5 seat sofa.

Or the other way around, pattern on the 2 seaters, plain on the 5 seater.

hello there, your livingroom has lots of good accessories i really liked that . i dont think so u need to change sofas but if u really want to spend some money to beautify this place u can definitely buy some big colourful throw pillows because these cushions doesn't look good at all , sofa's upholstery is white and good but it gets merge with white wall so if u willing to change it then it will be better, u definitely need a new coffee table this one is very old fashioned. the seater besides the wall is perfect just change its gadda's fabric similar to sofa's fabric. seater's cushions are perfect. also u can change the 1st layer of drapes its very gaudy change it with the plain fabric not much patterns 2nd layer white sheer is perfect. please feel free to contact for more information

Since this is an investment piece, I would opt for a solid fabric that will stand the test of time and allow you to change up decor when you want to.

I would do solid and add pattern with chairs and pillows.

Solid couch would be my choice and don't foret to order patterned pillows for all three pieces. A patterned fabric will become outdated more quickly and updating pillows over the years will keep it modern and allow you to change decor. In regards to other two, I would go with plain fabric for a 2 seater and if you don't need the seating capacity, go with a single patterned chair to bring interest and when tired of it, less expensive to reupholster only one chair.
