It is useful if you already have enough counter space but would need additional storage space for regular use kitchen items. When you open the door the stored items comes out in racks that are accessible from both sides. Work with someone in your location who designs and provides kitchens. If you location is not in the U.S. cabinets sizes and appliances are very different and info will not apply.
