“I had a great experience working with Tile Outlet. I went to the store looking to do a total overhaul of a bathroom and to get new kitchen counters. The staff was a great help showing me different options for my counters based on the colors of my cabinets. They showed me different options of tile and granite. They also gave examples of how different back splash options can drastically change the look of your kitchen from a modern feel to a more rustic look. They made picking out the tile for the bathroom very easy with different suggestions on how dark of a tile I could get without creating a cave like feel in my bathroom due to the lighting. After ordering some of my tile they realized it was from two different dye lots and they were on top of getting me the matching tile. They always kept me informed as to what was going on with the order. The staff was great to deal with and I will be back when I redo my next bathroom.”

“I was going to take advantage of a Home Depot special promotion for granite when a friend suggested that before I go through HD I might want to go down to Andrew Lauren Granite directly. She was able to get a great price by using the remnants/rejected slabs - and her kitchen is gorgeous! ALG is a sub for HD, so either way I would have to go down there anyway to pick out the slab. Kristen took me out to see the slabs in the back, and almost immediately I fell in love with a slab that had been rejected by another customer because there was too much "movement" in the veining (really - people pay big bucks for that)! I asked if the island could be cut from the portion of the slab that had the dramatic veining, and after a few quick calculations the answer was "yes". She was wonderful to work with, especially since I was kind of obnoxious about making sure that the island was cut from the unique portion of the slab. :-) They also beat HD's special promotion price! The template makers and installers were on time and very professional. The only glitch was miscommunication on my part regarding the re-connection of the plumbing - but again that was my error. My new counters are gorgeous. I'm a Realtor, so I've seen a lot of kitchens! I highly recommend Andrew Lauren, and will not hesitate to recommend them to my clients!”

“This spring I visited the Tucson Home Show for fresh ideas for an outdoor kitchen. I am a real estate broker so it has given me an opportunity to have seen a lot of outdoor kitchens. This is where I came upon a booth for A&E Recycled Granite. They have two unique products using waste granite from other companies that was thrown into landfills. After a little design work I selected both of their products for my outdoor kitchen. Having been a mason a long time ago I elected to do the job myself but A&E was happy to do a few custom cuts for me. Everything turned out perfect! Being unique to my location there is nothing like it, anywhere, yet! I will say that having a detailed plan helped and Julie had many great ideas to help with that. My project required a lot of cutting of the granite. I used a 10" Dewalt diamond blade tile saw for the small stuff and a 16" Target block saw for the big cuts. A&E can do the cuts for you and they were happy to do some for me. Other than very labor intensive, It will last many lifetimes!!!”
