“We could not have asked for a better contractor than Hughes Carpentry. We really appreciated the professional, detail oriented, punctual service. The process of remodeling can be stressful and overwhelming (especially when you are doing several rooms), but with Hughes Carpentry they really broke it down into manageable steps that made the process enjoyable and the end result fabulous! When I was having difficulty finding kitchen cabinets that I liked, I showed Benjamin a picture from a magazine to help him understand the style I was trying to achieve. He was able to not only understand the concept but build the cabinets matching the style perfectly- in the wood, design and finish we wanted. Everyone who sees our kitchen has said how blown away they are by the results (for us it is a dream come true!) In an age where professionalism and integrity are often difficult to find in contractors, Hughes Carpentry showed us that they do indeed exist. Our job was completed beyond our expectations with a clean up at the site each day. Who could ask for any more than that?”

“McDonald Woodworks has done a couple of projects for us and every time the project is completed we are delighted with the craftsmanship and attention to detail. Archie is very knoweldgable about all aspects of woodworking. We have given him several challenging projects; wooden I-beams made to replicate the look of metal I-beams, a complicated front door design that weighs about 400lbs and closes like butter. The last project was a custom walnut table with inlayed bronze. We are very happy with everything he as created for us.”
