“After vetting several candidates, we chose A&E Kitchen Design to do the remodeling of our kitchen. We couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. During the design phase, owner Doug Gonsalves offered a number of suggestions which improved our original concept. With respect to the actual remodel, Doug assembled a team of subcontractors who did the tearout of the old kitchen, installation of the new cabinets, the new countertops, the electrical work, the plumbing work, and the drywall work. Each subcontractor did an excellent job and throughout the entire process, Doug was very visible and hands on making sure we were pleased with each phase of the work. As with any job of this size, there were several minor issues which were promptly and completely resolved. Had it not been for several additions we made to the original scope of work, the job would have been within the estimated cost.
