“Assiniboine helped us finish our backyard last summer and we were extremely pleased with their service and workmanship. They showed up when they told me they would, they worked hard on our project everyday till it was complete, and at the end walked through the whole project with me to make sure I was happy with everything! In the end I feel I paid a fair price for an exceptional landscape and experience! I'm looking forward to Assiniboine coming back this summer to finish my front yard!”

“Everyone from the owner, the guy who comes out to quote, and the guys who came to work on our complicated roof deck were a pleasure to deal with. They were not the highest quote, or the lowest, and the bill was exactly what we were expecting. This transparency was critical to staying on budget, especially when our project demo uncovered some unexpected damage that we had to repair. Highly recommended.”

“Cole Tarras built a heavy timber pergola for us during the summer of 2016. Professionalism, customer service and workmanship were excellent. “Hi, Just wanted to give Mark a review. I had him make me a Pergola for over my hot tub and a enclosure for my metres in the back of my yard. He was a very well mannerd and listens well to my requests. He helped me understand the design and emailed me pictures on Pergolas so I could choose the one I wanted. He was spot on with the time frame that he said it would take, I found that his workmanship is of higher standard and I am very happy with it. Mark gave me a fair price I think and isn't one to charge more for what he is doing. He just gives you the fair price for the job that is comparable in his industry. I am glad I found him and would hire him again for more projects in the future. All the best to you Mark! Clarissa”

“These guys were good to deal with from the first meeting and getting a quote to letting us know when they would do the work. They tore down our rotting deck and took it away. They replaced it with a new deck and a nice vinyl covering that they got from BC, and we liked that we were also helping another Canadian company. We enjoyed having them around to do this work for us, and it's nice to have a good deck since we're home more now because of COVID.”

“Christina & Francois at Busy Beaver have been absolutely excellent to deal with! They built an outstanding product that was both on time and did not have any budget creep at all. The final bill was exactly what was quoted and we appreciated that. We gave them design parameters and they ran with it, culminating in a well-crafted project that we have had so many wonderful compliments on. These guys are professional, polite, tidy, and their workmanship is second to none. We have utilized the services of many different contractors over time and Busy Beaver is absolutely one of the very best and will not hesitate to use them again and to recommend to other family and friends!! “Professional, superb customer service, fabulous work, on time and on budget! What more can I say?!?! Dan Wood and his A Deck Above team are awesome! We decided to go with A Deck Above because of Dan Wood’s extremely professional and personal approach to his business. When we were going through the ideas and design phase for our new deck, Dan spent an inordinate amount of time with us discussing options and providing advice. He thought of so many things we didn't. His practical advice was so appreciated and absolutely beneficial as our deck is now complete and it is not only absolutely gorgeous, but also completely functional. Dan's team is very professional, considerate and talented. Dan is communicative, available and on schedule. His pricing is also totally competitive as we received another quote and it was completely in line with Dan's, but minus the incredible customer service. It was a no brainer for us to go with Dan.
