“Kirby Mast of Hartville Hardware was wonderful to work with. We met Kirby on a busy Saturday while he was working the sales floor. He took the time to talk with us and we immediately felt comfortable in his abilities and knew he was the person we would work with on the remodel. Kirby and Bob, the construction supervisor from HH met us at our home and we walked through everything we wanted in our dream bath and discussed what would work and how to achieve that look. We discussed our budget and he felt confident that it could be accomplished in that amount, and it was! We wanted shelves over the commode, and he found the product that would work, we wanted built in medicine cabinets and he designed and HH built them for us. Kirby was only an email away whenever we had a question. Choosing everything was fun and easy. HH had all the materials we needed, except lighting. The installers, Greg and Nelson were super considerate, prompt, and always wanted to make sure what they were doing was what we wanted, everything at the right height, accent tiles properly featured, grout colors in the proper areas, etc. The work was very professional and they kept to the schedule and were done on time. Kirby kept in touch to make sure things were progressing properly and upon completion, came and made sure we were pleased with everything. And yes, we were and still are very pleased with everything, from design to install. We highly recommend working with Kirby Mast and will definitely work with him again on our next project(s).”

“My contractor sent us to Schlabach Design for our kitchen remodeling job, and we had never heard of them. From the first time we sat down with Chris--we felt like we finally found someone that truly cared about us and what we were after. My husband sent me alone thereafter; he was confident in my choices, and each time I sat down with Willis and Chris, they were so kind and had such great ideas for me! As the plan came along, I was loving it more and more, but was very anxious how it would all come together... The cabinets are now all installed--and they are beautiful! “Dave exudes ethics, quality, and honesty in all that he does. I spoke with several other custom (and semi-custom) cabinetmakers before coming to Dave. Dave truly cares about every last detail of your project, and is willing to create something he’s never done before (my custom hood, wine storage, fronts for refrigerator drawers, and pull out liquor bottle storage). I trust him explicitly. In a world where you just don’t know who to trust, you can feel comfort in knowing Dave Mast is one you can. Throughout the design and build process, I could count on Dave to call me with questions on even the most minute details of our project. He went out of his way to explain why he felt something might work better one way or another, but ultimately always left the decision up to me. (For the record, I always trusted his professional judgment). The finished project is breathtaking. The detail and craftsmanship is beyond what we anticipated. As promised, all cabinets are solid wood with soft close hinges/rails that are lifetime guaranteed, two piece crown moulding around the top of the cabinets, furniture feet on most pieces, and generous trim around the bases as well. Installers are equally as important, and his installation crew, Wayne and Caleb are as meticulous in their work. We ran into a few unanticipated hiccups due to the design of my home or work done by other contractors. Dave was happy to build and supply anything necessary at no additional cost to me and/or Wayne and Caleb jumped in to remedy what was standing in the way. They truly cared that everyone should look like it was finished with the utmost amount of professionalism. Enduring a renovation doesn’t always provide for such dedication and commitment, and I am so appreciative I found Dave. As I continue to renovate other portions of my home in the coming years, I will undoubtedly use Dave for my cabinetry. His work is fantastic, and his price is well within reason for the finished product.”

We wanted a custom kitchen because we were not satisfied with the quality of product that the "box" stores offered. Dan was helpful in selecting cabinet options and was very professional. He even made several design suggestions/changes that we appreciate everyday. The product was professionally delivered to our home. What really separates this company is how they dealt with the minor issues we had (due to our walls being out of kilter). They resolved the problems so quickly (changed the dimensions of our lazy-susan in 3 hours, reworked one of our base cabinets in 1 day to accommodate our new microwave dimensions, and custom cut the wood valance above the sink the same day). that I can hardly even remember what the problems were. They went over and above helping us get a high quality product for our kitchen remodel. The finish is awesome and the workmanship is phenomenal! I would recommend 4B Wood (and I have) to anyone looking for a new kitchen. They also supplied us with cabinet bases for our familyroom built-ins. They were very well made. “Over five years ago, we had Mullet design, construct and install extensive cherry paneling throughout our living room, dining room, and foyer. From start to finish, they were EXCEPTIONAL. They patiently went back and forth with us in the design phase, making sure we had thought through various options. From their detailed drawings they constructed the cabinetry offsite. When installation day came, they installed everything efficiently, with a very précise fit, and remarkably little dust. (How did they do that, we wondered gleefully!) The paneled rooms are still stunning - all our visitors asked who did our custom work - and we always say MULLET! Now we are starting another remodeling project, installing a new kitchen. Before we settled on our general contractor, we made sure he would and could work well with Mullet - as everything but Mullet is negotiable for us. You will not be disappointed.
