“We have used M&C Landscaping for replacing front steps as well as entire large driveway in Cornelius. After getting 4 estimates, I contacted a neighbor to asked who did his driveway which was M&C. The estimates varied by more than $6000 dollars. The Owner, Maynor, said initially that he wouldn't be the highest priced contractor nor the lowest. As it turned out, he was the second lowest and more than that, his process for replacing the driveway exceeded all the other quotes which meant his base for the driveway was deeper after removing the existing concrete and the layers of materials used exceeded all others quotes. Pedro, his lead contractor, set the pitch for drainage and laid EVERY paver with the help of 4 others, The crew was polite, friendly, and cleaned up perfectly each day. The processor 5 days. I provided drinks and donuts as they worked in the heat of the summer last year. Maynor provided a huge list of references and we were able to see his workmanship prior to signing on. This month he put in water drainage systems to stop the shoreline erosion which was occurring above my lakefront walkway. He also replaced my pine needles with rich brown mulch and he and his company highly recommended.”

“Let me first begin by admitting that our previous deck was a failure. Nothing was built to code and there was a miniature sinkhole beneath a few of the footings leaving us with a deck we hadn't been able to use since we moved in 5 years ago. “Let me begin with......I am IN LOVE with my new screened in porch. (Side note. So are my cats. Maybe more than me but I doubt it) If it hadn't been for Michael and Henry being the main 2 subs on the build (all the carpentry and advice) I think I would have lost my mind on this project and possibly been a not so happy camper in the end. I’ve been told you can have that on big jobs. But thankfully with Henry and Michael in my corner I ended with a beautiful product and the journey wasn’t too bad either. It started with me picking a contractor (they will remain nameless) after doing 4 estimates. I thought I picked correctly. And I guess I did in a way. I got Michael and Henry out of this after all…but the other subs and the contractor not so much. Henry and Michael looked out for my best interest throughout the entire build when my contractor didn’t seem to be. I think he thought he was. I wish I had known about Headers 2 Footers before this build because the process would have gone so much smoother. But the silver lining is I had them on this build and they were a god send. They helped me get through everything the way my contractor should have been and I will have them on any future plans I have for my house as well. We are actually already talking about putting in a much needed new front porch. So if you are looking for a couple of guys with integrity, creativity, friendliness and skill to back it all up, pick these two. I promise you won’t be disappointed.”
