“I hired Robert to replicate an interior door with a couple requested changes, and it turned out great! My house was built in 1928 with very nice multiple level molding single panel doors. I have two cats and wanted to relocate the litter box to the basement, and so I needed to install a pet door, but I knew I would butcher the door if I did it myself. I also wanted the door to be longer as we are taking out the thick carpet and refinishing the hardwood floors, and the bottom gap from the current door would be too large. I called several places for quotes on the project, 4 responded. Two were insanely expensive, at $2k and $4k for the project. Robert's price at $530 was right inline with the 4th quote, but he was more responsive and I liked his website showcasing past work. Robert was easy to work with and quickly understood what I was looking for. He was flexible with evening pickup and delivery times, allowing me to not miss work. When he delivered the door, he quickly made the modifications needed to have the new door fit fit in the old, non-square frame. I'd highly recommend him and have attached some pictures for comparison (old door is painted).”

As someone who didn't exactly have a clear picture of what I was asking for when looking for help with a vanity and counter top while remodeling my bathroom, she was super patient with me and always willing to lay out additional options until I found just the right thing. She was very easy to get in touch with and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend working with Sheila on any home renovation project!”

“Just delighted to work with another client at Vartanian yesterday. This is a family-run business and you really feel the difference. The welcome is warm and the showroom is a comfortable place to spread out and get work done. Staff are all helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely a client-focussed, can-do attitude here. Being a color specialist, I am happy to learn that Vartanian does custom colors using the Benjamin Moore palette....thousands of color to choose from! Right now, with painted kitchens being extremely popular, this gives us so much more than the "stock plus" colors offered everywhere else. I've already written to another client about finally being able to find the "green of her dreams" for her new kitchen.”

“Hands down the best tradesmen we dealt with on our Kitchen addition. Chip and Justin design and construct the most beautiful and reasonably priced cabinets in Connecticut. These guys should be the model of for others dealing with and providing the 'homeowner" with what they expect and pay for. Don't believe me, have them do your cabinets and report back if your not thrilled with the final product, we were!!! Best, JK (CT)”

They are neat, professional, courteous and caring people who took great pains to keep our house clean during the process and provide exemplary service. I have consistently selected them on any project I was free to hire cabinet and furniture makers. Their craftsmanship is meticulous and their finishing superb. They are wonderful people to work and deal with, ans that is true of their relationships with clien's and any professionals in the field of design and construction. They review all drawings with the utmost care, this means that we have a collaboration which has always proved to be the best result for the client. They are absolutely honest and trustworthy, they meet deadlines and budgets without fail. Pictures of the 2010 bamboo and slate bathroom are shown on my website. Good design is wonderful, what brings it to life is superb craftsmanship, and that relationship between designer and craftsman is magic.”
