“Two things mark Jim's work. Impeccable workmanship and remarkable taste. We have given him four projects, none of which were of simple design and construction, and the result has always been several steps beyond the original concept. His ability to understand the scope of the piece, and the need, and then take it to another level is, to me who knows something about craftsmanship, his gift. We only had to wait a few weeks for completion on one piece, and he never came in over budget. Jim completed four pieces for us, the first of which began in 1995. His work was such that we installed three more of Jim's creations in our house and, when we buy the brownstone this fall we will return to Jim's drawing board for help”
