“My name is Tom Pitkin and Laura Boone helped my wife and I RE-DO our kitchen after a disaster at our home. We had a flood as a result of a major leak from an upstairs bath. Laura and her Kitchen design team came in and provided us with a FIRST RATE, STATE OF ART kitchen design. Laura was insightful, patient, and professional. The result of Laura's vision produced a result far better than we had envisioned. We would highly recommend Kitchen Design and Laura Boone for any remodeling and/or construction of a new or existing kitchen.”

“We were delighted with the services provided by Jake Lane of The Fabrication Lane. This young man responded quickly to our request for information, setting up an appointment to personally visit to review our site, discuss our requirements, work within our budget, and offer his recommendations. We wound up going with most of what Mr. Lane suggested, and it turned out nobly. Mr. Lane took a plain, newly-constructed, brick wall and made it a work of art using iron and brass. The location of our site is in the historic district of downtown Elizabeth City, NC, and his work generated much comment. People imagine something grand is destined for this meadow-like plot, given the majestic entrance and exit gates Mr. Lane fabricated and the iron and brass ornamentation on top of the brick walls. His work exceeded our expectations, was performed in the timeframe Mr. Lane stated by his team of talented metal smiths, and all questions we raised were quickly addressed. As a result of such a positive experience, we asked Mr. Lane to fabricate railings for the stairway into our backyard garden, and these, too, were of the same high caliber, although not ornate. We have had a number of inquiries about who produced the work at our locations and have happily and confidently referred them to The Fabrication Lane. In these times when workman seem harried and non-inclined to deliver much in the way of personal service, Mr. Lane's competence and professionality is a breath of fresh air.”

“Chuck's Construction helped design, made, and installed our kitchen cabinetry. We had a couple of older cabinets and they were able to completely match all of them by refinishing them. Some of the cabinets are irregular sizes and have extra features. They are beautiful. The counter tops are wonderful and are holding up well. Everyone was very polite and neat. We liked how everything turned out and later had them make a custom bathroom counter. We have referred them to several people and have seen and heard about the fantastic results.”

“Virginia Beach Patios installed a large patio, walkway, fire pit and seat walls for our property. The project went very smooth and looks amazing. During our consultation they realized I was a very visual person and offered to provide design renderings at no cost so I could see what everything would look like. It was remarkable how the final product was a spot on perfect match to what was shown on design. I have and will continue to recommend Virginia Beach Patios.”

“Ultimate Hardscapes took the vision I had for all of my outdoor hardscapes and ran with it. They delivered a beautiful finished project that I could not be happier with. Everybody that has seen it can't get over the transformation! They used Eagle Bay pavers for the entire project to build a new patio with steps and lighting, a firepit and bar with granite counter top and built-in grill. Also built all new front entry steps and walkway with retention walls and lighting. That is probably my favorite part of the whole project. My home exterior has taken on a higher end look and feel.”

“We have worked with Denise on multiple projects and "general contractor" type of work in our new house. She is an artist when it comes to design. she designed two custom pieces for us to blend with our "look," They are amazing! Denise has also built some straight forward pieces like an office cabinet and matching drawer fronts for filing cabinet and refinishing for us. Whether it is complex or simple Denise's work is nothing short of perfection! We always say, why would you bother to go to anyone else when you know that no matter what DEnise touches, it is going to be perfect!”

“We had initially hired another contractor to do all the cabinetry work in our new home. Two months before we were due to move in, they backed out. We called Kempsville Cabinets and within a weeks time, they had the drawings to us and were able to turn around all the cabinets in one month. They were awesome to deal with and everything looks beautiful! Very professional and friendly workmen as well.”

“I am a commercial architect who chose this company to fabricate and install various types of guardrails, stair railings, pool fencing and deer fencing for the first phase of my personal vacation home. The Owner's were personally involved in working out fabrication details with me to ensure that the visual appearance I desired was achieved. They provided oversight of the installations, which were varied with different types of materials, mounting conditions and visual appearances. They did a "great job" for a fair price, and completed the work in a timely manner. Looking forward to working with them again on the second phase next year.”

“I called around to several glass/mirror shops and Quality Glass and Mirror not only had the lowest price, but had the thin mirror (1/8") in stock that I needed for five large hanging mirrors I was having built for my new home bathrooms. They were willing to negotiate a cash price. The turn around was quick, delivered on time and exactly what I asked for. The price quote was prompt and the staff are a pleasure. i don't really know what more i could ask for! I plan to use them for additional closet mirrors when my house is complete.”
