“1st Choice Cabinetry is a top notch kitchen remodel company. They have the highest quality work ethic. We wanted a complete kitchen remodel that included structural changes and adding a mudroom. Russell took care of it all for us. He patiently helped us no matter how many changes we made. When the project actually started he provided us with a timeline and kept to it. The site was always cleaned up at the end of the day. Anytime we had questions Russell was prompt in getting back to us. The cabinets are built well and were installed with great care. The complete remodel turned out better than we imagined.”

“We are building our new home which is 8000 sq ft. We bought all our light fixtures, all the plumbing fixtures and kitchen appliances from Ferguson in Memphis TN. They are very professional and thorough in their business dealing. If there was any change of order or price, they dealt with it professionally. The prices were great as well! At first we were under the impression that Ferguson was an expensive store , but it completely changed once they price matched everything. Overall we would give them an A+.”

“We worked with Patricia Dunlop of Fine Kitchens & Baths to redesign our kitchen, laundry & half bath. It was a fabulous experience! Discussions about our wants and desires would spark her thinking and she would offer fun, creative options for us to play with. She listened to what was important to us, balanced it with the reality of our budget constraints and ultimately created the design that our contractor used to drive actual construction. Then she stayed engaged throughout the construction - coming over periodically to interpret drawings, give opinions on structural changes (after all-nothing goes perfectly in a remodel) and even helped us with all those decisions that have to be made around flooring, lighting, counter tops, etc. This was our first remodel and we've heard all the horror stories, but we are actually looking forward to the next project and plan to engage Patricia again.”

“Our old aluminum windows completely crapped out on us this winter. Our area had bitter cold and an inversion that added a lot of humidity to the air. As result, our windows accumulated ice on the INSIDE, so thick that I would have to chip it off every morning. The ice blocks were creating mold, and causing damage to our window frames and carpet, so I knew we had to get them all replaced. I called Wood Windows and explained my issue and Connell came out the next day to give me a quote. They just finished installing all of our windows yesterday. In sum: 1) They did exactly what they said they would do 2) There were no surprises along the way or additional charges 3) The carpenters were awesome and friendly, I even baked our guy cupcakes, that's how much I liked him 4) The windows look amazing and I can already tell the difference in heat control and the added sound protection 5) They spent at least an hour every night just cleaning up after themselves and by the time they were done there was no trace that they had ever been there (well, besides shiny new windows that is) 6) Their price was $2,000 less than the other guys, and they gave me everything in writing so I could run it by my dad. The Home Depot guy wouldn't even give me anything in writing; I had to take notes on a piece of paper and dig just to see what services were covered (FYI, putting the trim back on is not covered in their “quote”, and it was an extra $1500, that’s kind of a big deal). 7) I got to choose a paint color and Wood Windows painted all the trim for me, so not only do I have nice new windows but now I have new trim that really makes them stand out. It killed me a little to drop $10k but we definitely made the right decision with this company. No regrets.”
