“My wife and I hired Kling Brothers Builders/Keith Kling to build an addition onto the back of our house, which included a new kitchen, family room, patio, mudroom, and other modifications to the interior. From the start, I was very impressed with Keith’s preparedness and diligence. He created a very detailed and transparent budget (approximately 10 pages), which outlined each item to be done and the price. More importantly, his estimate was accurate, and the prices that we agreed to did not change throughout the project. Keith is also very hands-on. He was on-site every day during the project. He is extremely responsive by email and phone, and if I emailed him a question while I was at work, within a very short period of time, I would receive a response. He was also available on weekends to meet with me, which was more convenient for my schedule. The workmanship of Kling Brothers Builders is top notch. Their on-staff carpenters are excellent, and their subcontractors are all superb. I did not have any issues with shoddy work or questionable characters walking around my property or in my house. Keith is very diligent about the “structure” and integrity of the building, and takes pride in how well built and solid the “bones” of the project are. Although I am not a builder myself, you can just tell that something is well put together by looking at it. Keith stresses quality and perfection, and was not satisfied until we were satisfied. He has access to some of the best craftsmen in the area, and in particular he introduced us to a custom cabinet maker who created a showcase kitchen for us. His other subs, such as the electrician, the plumber, etc., were all personable and flexible. All in all, we were very impressed and happy with Keith Kling. Although my wife and I are reasonable, we also have very high standards. Given the size of our project (to us), we expected top service and attention. Keith came through with flying colors, and he was very friendly, personable, and professional throughout. I have no tolerance for service providers who do not do what they say or make you feel as though you are doing them a favor by giving them your money. Keith is certainly not one of those people. Our project came in on budget, and any additional work that I wanted done was communicated and agreed-to up front. There were no surprises and the communication between Keith and us could not have been better. I give Kling Brothers Builders/Keith Kling my highest recommendation. I hope to use them again on a future project.”

John and his crew went out of their way to not inconvenience my family as they did their work. This spring, I had a problem with some screens. “Total Pool and Spa designed and built our free-form pool. They developed a clearly depicted design which we co-created and executed it beautifully. The project came in at budget and within the time frame which they had indicated. The job was quite intricate and required Total Pool & Spa to draw on additional resources such as for the landscape design, stone work, and construction of the pool house. In all cases these trade people were extremely proficient and very professional. The total effect of the pool makes it appear as if you came upon a hot spring. It begins as a stream, then feeds into the hot tub, which in effect fills up and spills over in a waterfall into the pool itself. Total Pool incorporated an island, a bridge, (which has water breaking over it) and the free-formed pool itself. Total Pool and Spa did an absolutely outstanding job! Total Pool also performs the maintenance on the pool. They are dedicated to keeping it beautiful and are extremely responsive to any problems that occur. From May through October, my family lives at the pool. We’ve since added other elements such as a beautiful stone island to provide cooking space and a flat screen TV. It really is our sanctuary! “My company, Car Lifts Plus, LLC, has hired Elite Concrete Systems, Robin Leigh, dozens of times within the past 3 or 4 years to install epoxy/polyaspartic seamless floor systems in our customers garages. Robin is a perfectionist and demands a "perfect installation". If required, which doesn't happen often, Robin will bend over backwards to create total satisfaction for my/his clients. Robin continuously investigates new products and new equipment, spending countless hours on the internet improving his service. Before finding Robin I had hired 3 or 4 guys who claimed that they could do the job, but be careful, most of these "fly by night" contractors in this business don't have a clue, and your expensive floor will have a "taillight guarantee" (when you can't see my taillights, your warranty has ended). Hire the best, hire Robin, Elite Concrete Systems, THE BEST!”

“I met David Katz when I was interviewing landscape architects for a pool and spa I wanted to build on a property I'd recently acquired in the Hudson Valley. I'm a business person myself and very careful when choosing who I work with. Accordingly, I interviewed 5 different architects before choosing to go with Elite. Everyone I met with was talented, but David Katz was on a different level. Whereas others would walk the property and talk about what they thought, after I'd walked the property with David and we had talked, he started drawing. Within 15 minutes, I had a full rendition of what was clearly right for the property. If there were one theme to my relationship with Elite, it would be this--execution. The other architects talked vaguely of being able to get the pool done in 15 months or so. I told David I wanted to be swimming in thee months. He said I was crazy. I asked him if he could get it done. He said yes. Three months later, on the 4th of July weekend, my family was swimming. That's what's truly special about David and the Elite team--they can get the job done, on time, and on budget. Moreover, while I was forced to manage my house contractors daily, I didn't have to even think about Elite. They transformed our property in exactly the right way, and I didn't have to manage a thing. That has rarely happened to me before, and it was fantastic. Shortly after the completion of the pool and spa, I engaged Elite on another large scale project on the property. Just like the pool and spa, it was also done perfectly and perfectly on time and on budget. Elite (and in particularly, Mitch, David's son) continues to service our property and I suspect we'll build something great again in the future. I can't recommend the Elite team highly enough. “Our project was bringing our 1970's kitchen up to date, and expanding it into an adjacent room. This was a complete redesign of the floor plan and essentially starting from the studs. We drew up a rough design (on graph paper!) and walked into the Torrington Lowes to start getting ideas and see what we could do. We were met by Kathy and Danielle, and they took that design and put it in motion to coming a reality. They helped us with everything, from picking out the right cabinets, to lining up a fantastic contractor to install them as well as our new floor and ceiling to go with it.
