“My wife and I asked Tom Maxwell to replace a built-in wardrobe and include a bookcase to the side of it as an integral feature. From our first meeting with him we were most impressed by his interest, enthusiasm, knowledge and advice. With his help we arrived at an initial design and then he suggested we consider that and review it at leisure. He provided us with detailed drawings with the full specifications and a price. After consideration we changed some particulars and discussed them with him and he provided revised drawings. We visited him at his workshop so that we could examine and handle the woods that we were thinking of having used for our project and Tom gave us a very full briefing on their nature and qualities. We discussed finishes and he told us what he thought would best suit our needs as we had outlined them to him. He was also very helpful in advising us on handles, fitments etc and it was a delight to work with him and share in his enthusiasm for what he did. After we had confirmed the final design he gave us a definitive price and a timescale. His execution of the project was first class. The old wardrobe was removed and the new one and its accompanying bookcase were installed with a minimum of fuss and disruption and we are absolutely delighted with the result and feel proud to own such a lovely and unique piece of furniture. We look forward with pleasurable anticipation to working again with Tom and have already made a proposal to him to tackle a very difficult and complicated piece of cabinet making. We would recommend Tom and his colleague without reservation.”

“We've recently had bookshelves installed by MP carpentry and they look amazing!!! Marc was really helpful, he went above and beyond and planned the design for us to review before hand. “Projects: kitchen including bespoke cupboards and extractor hood, utility room fit out, double front door including arched frame, fitted bathroom units, bathroom wall cabinet, wood inlay cutlery canteen box, restoration of stair banisters. Ted was excellent throughout the design, make and installation of the projects we have used his services for. He listened to our requirements and our design ideas and his workmanship has been really great. We were able to work with Ted to change designs and materials to control costs where necessary. Teds skills have added a level of finesse to the finish of our house refurbishment project that could not have been achieved without his input. We are delighted.”

“We contacted Stephen Turner when we wanted to give our ensuite a makeover. We had little idea what we wanted and a couple of hurdles that had to be overcome. We found Stephen very helpful, accommodating and patient. He provided us with several options and our ideas soon became enhanced and a reality. He made us a built in vanity unit with a very large inbuilt mirror. On deciding the colour he sprayed them and fit them but once in place I changed my mind - without question he resprayed them in the new colour. Stephen was very professional and helpful and most importantly talented. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.”
