“I recently completed refurnishing a master bedroom in a beautiful home on Lake Geneva, WI. We used exquisite but very subtle fabrics for the bed, drapes and furniture, in addition to a hand loomed rug from the Baharam Shabahang Collection. Unless expertly photographed, none of the scrumptious nature of the fabrics would come across in a simple photo. I knew that I needed a photographer who would be able to capture the subtle texture, pattern and tonal variations in the fabrics and rug. Victoria McHugh lived up to all my expectations; she arrived at my client's house on time, brought only the equipment she needed into the house but was totally prepared by storing anything she might have needed in her car, got right to work, made sure she understood what I was looking for and had very insightful suggestions. “I have worked with Jill on many many occasions and I will share she has been amazing. We photographed a large handful of projects this year, of all types and Jill was fabulous to work with as she listened to what we wanted to get out of the space and then added her expertise in regards to lighting, spacing, angels etc. On another note, people do not realize the work the goes into staging a space to be photographed, Jill's sense of humor added a lot of levity to those situations which made it fun as well.
