Gonzalo was on site on a daily basis to supervise and ensure the projects were on time and done correctly. He was very flexible to changes and he was very capable in handling those changes made. We have contracted with JRG 3-4 times for a range of needs. In every case, Gonzalo has offered innovative solutions to significant challenges that are in full compliance. His experience, network, and education mean we get the very best care, work, and craftsmanship imaginable. Our largest project was $250K+ and involved reconstructing a small footprint, 3-story home to be ADA accessible. Gonzalo matched the architectural plan with expanded, workable solutions that continue to work perfectly for the wheelchair-bound client and his family...without compromising the design aesthetic of the home. The value of our home actually rose as a result of JRG's refinements. I'm amazed at JRG's network of vendors and subs, too. He coaxes the best work out of the best people and they enjoy working on JRG projects. Finally, JRG has phenomenally-high ethical standards, ensuring that JRG is the kind of company we actually look forward to contacting for our next project!

To begin my review, I reveal our remodel was a direct result of Hurricane Harvey flooding our house. While random clean-up crews was ripping out carpets, dragging out flooded properties and packing rooms up for remote storage, we were forced to begin the contractor interview process. The first contractors’ interviews were compact, quick room reviews and thereafter pushed agendas, mostly about their invoicing cycles. I realize it is business, but during the interview process only Mr. Gonzalo Garcia, JRG Builder & Remodeler’s owner walked through with a relaxed but complex determination, that included photo taking and measurements plus note taking the first day. We then approved him coordinating each trade to meet him here to provide their part of the bid. The feat of coordinating trades was a particularly intense skill that first week, in the beginning of the process, and every group or trade showed up on time and ready which speaks to Mr. Garcia’s good reputation and contractor coordination and supervising skills. After he set us down to go through each room’s rebuilding needs, we discussed some changes I wanted, and he retooled the estimate contract quickly. The contract was signed, and the work began. Mr. Garcia’s amassed ensemble of experts, concise laborers, workers and tradesmen are well acquainted with one another and work closely in coordinated respect. It was a pleasure listening to them and watching them all do their good work. Their work schedules were met on a near perfect timely basis, especially considering the demands caused by the hurricane reconstruction, all because of Mr. Garcia. The budget / contract was never exceeded by any worker, trade or Mr. Garcia. We initially chose Mr. Garcia because he was able to walk through, be professional and still be sensitive to our disaster mindset. I will note my husband was well versed on the interview process by the time we met with Mr. Garcia and it was a comfortable positive discussion without a single red flag. I watched Mr. Garcia move through the house, asking questions that mattered to us as home owners, not as customers. Mr. Garcia had to bring in each trade to review estimates and I watched the discussions between them, I watched how they behaved towards one another and concerning that skill and there was a constant; mutual respect and exceptional professionalism. I add that the professionalism increased throughout the reconstruction process. Mr. Garcia made our experience great even though it was born from a disaster. I hope my review conveys Mr. Garcia is the utmost professional. He visited his work sight every work day and we had an ongoing interaction via email, text and phone. His team of trades did outstanding work on all levels from literally the foundation to the finishes.

JRG Builder & Remodeler's is an excellent firm! I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the work and professionalism of Gonzalo Garcia and the subcontractors he had work on remodeling our kitchen and family room. Through the years I've heard horror stories of subcontractors not showing up, etc. - so I was nervous about this. However, this was not the case at all of JRG Builder & Remodeler's! Gonzalo and his subs exceeded by far our expectations. The work was done on time, subs showed up when Gonzalo said they would and any minor cost adjustments - he sat down and explained them too us. Even my husband was super impressed! The quality of JRG Builder & Remoderl's work is exceptional and so is their client service in terms of responsiveness and staying on top of the job! To top it off - I love how it all turned out!

The work that was done was exceptional. They were all professionals who took great care while in my house - quiet, quick and cleaned up everyday before they left. They involved me when there were options to do things differently to ensure that i got the end product that i truly wanted. I am so very happy with the end result.

JRG did a complete remodel of our kitchen. Top notch craft persons did the job in 30 plus days.. At a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!!

JRG completed a remodel of the kitchen, den, living and dining areas of my home. They provided beautiful custom work in rebuilding the kitchen, in recovering the fireplace and building a stone hearth, removing a wall, and reflooring the entire space. They also removed an old add-on room and reconfigured a patio. And they rebuilt two new entrance doors. All was done with great efficiency and quality. I am completely happy and pleased with the project. And they finished the work a month earlier than projected. Honesty, excellent work, the best quality of materials, and constant willingness to work with me as the job progressed. I cannot say enough good about the entire experience!
