We hired Hari from Perikali in Jan 2013 to update our existing landscape. We presented various ideas for a tropical garden with Spanish and Zen influences. He skillfully incorporated those elements into our garden, including large terracotta urns, mosaic fountain with Mexican tiles, lush banana plants, black river stone walkway, a rock garden....and my favorite, a Koi Pond. Absolutely lovely! From the get go, Hari was very professional and patiently listened to our suggestions and wishlist. He showed us dozens of plants and suggested what would work for our space while taking into account important factors like water usage, drainage, etc. In the end, he has created a a very aesthetically-pleasing garden for our family - which is a pleasure to relax in. I met up with Hari at Perkali while I was doing research on a project relating to the design of planters. Apart from sharing his vast knowledge of plants and landscaping, Hari was kind enough to show me a few of his earlier and current projects, including a beautiful vertical garden wall created outside a client's gym room.
