“Alex is one of those rare individuals who combines a creative mind with the technical and practical skills to make his artistic vision a reality. He listened to our needs and came up with a design which incorporated elements and materials we had not considered; he also sourced bespoke items to make our garden truly unique. It was tricky at times to balance the budget with Alex's desire for perfection but we got there in the end and he never compromised on the quality of the work he did. He paid great attention to detail and we are thrilled with the outcome.”

“The garden Matt redesigned for us is unique, gorgeous and full of wildlife - all thanks to his vision, expertise, incredible commitment and knowledge of plants. We asked for, and got, a contemporary, wildlife friendly, sustainable garden with good all year round structure that we could manage ourselves. As an added bonus Matt opened our eyes to a whole range of new plants and ideas and has provided excellent aftercare. “Finding Cathy Wallwork was a piece of incredibly good fortune. We had a messy front garden which had been planted with all the wrong things for the situation, and was neglected by us because we had no enthusiasm for it, and I didn't know what to do with it. I felt a strong sense of rapport when we sat down to talk it over, and felt she could get to what we wanted (which was probably hard because we didn't really know what we wanted). She has the ability (which I suppose is essential for a garden designer but I don't have it) to see past what was there and imagine dividing the space up differently. She was willing to re-work the design until we were completely happy, and the result looks better than I could have imagined. It wasn't cheap, but it was well worth it.”

“After our lawn died over winter Phil identified it was laid on builders rubble and unable to drain effectively. He obtained extra heavy plant quickly as we were on a timescale and laid drainage and returfed in a week. This obviously impacted our expected cost but we were pleased with the end result.”
