“Wentworth did a top quality job of landscaping our new home. The crew were extremely courteous and professional. Always showed up when they said they would and finished the job within the quoted timeframe and budget. I highly recommend them!”
Meyer's Landscaping Ltd.
Deck Building in Picton.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars12 July 2016
“Mike Meyer of Meyer's Landscaping Ltd. is a true professional. We have worked with him on a number of difficult projects. He did the landscaping for our boathouse in a very difficult rocky terrain with wonderful results. He has also resolved a number of issues in dealing with our limestone cliffs and our cedar de kings. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike for any landscaping needs. He is extremely creative. He just completed our side stone walk and front entrance and created a "living wall" above the boathouse.”
Landtech Design Landscape Contractors
Deck Building in Picton.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars8 March 2014
“Landtech Design commenced the early planning/design with us at Harmony Homes, our model/show case home/office. It was important that the quality of their work matched our custom product as a home builder. They delivered a professional product from start to finish, and the entire crew was a pleasure to interact with as well. We appreciate their outstanding contribution to our property, and would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for an above average outcome.”
Energized Surroundings
Deck Building in Picton.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars17 January 2017
“Summary: We hired Energized Surroundings two years ago to do the stone work in front of our new home, and again last year to do the back yard. 100% happy. Details: We had looked around at completed work various properties in the neighbourhood, and evaluated those as to similarity with what we wanted, and degree of finesse we could plainly see (or not). We also observed how various companies did the work (mess they made during the work, respect for the property, the mess left every night, the cleanup process etc). Also, how did it look at supposed "completion". I also received quotes from a few companies. The gamut ran from a virtual immediate verbal answer (next day) to 3 weeks (because "we're busy"). The prices quotes were also wildly different, but the detail in *ALL* of them was lacking. At most we saw a hand scribbled sketch with some rough lines, no stone types or choices, and ... no real discussion. Yes we understand that companies aren't in the business of handing out free estimates, however it's hard to establish trust if they won't engage. We also had some discussions with neighbours and their experiences with various contractors. From that we learned that even when people are not thrilled with their jobs, they are glad that it's over, and 'like' the final look as being better than it was. However when pressed, they often admit to having disliked the process, hate the attitude of the contractor, don't get their wishes attended to, or abhor certain aspects of their workers. In other words: unless you know people real well they'll tell you they are happy with the work they paid so much for. If they know and trust you, they'll reveal their true feelings (good and bad). We were getting rather disappointed with the available services. Then we stumbled on Michelle's and Mo's worksite in the neighbourhood, and did our usual observations and evaluations per the above. We liked what we saw and heard from others. We contacted them, and Mo took the time to listen and make suggestions. He made his own sketches based on ours, and translated it into a workable document. His price was fair, no B.S., and he was honest about when he could start. We signed on, (2015) and lived through the start, process and finish of the driveway and front walk work. All done in 2 weeks. Very happy all the way. So happy that in 2016 we got him back to 'do' our back yard with trees, landscaping and a large patio matching the front stones. Again, very happy. I have recommended them to several people, and continue to do so. Good people, good work. Sorry about the long winded report, but it's a big decision, and this landscaping work warrants doing it right the first time.”
