“Brent Alford did a beautiful job with the landscaping surround out home. He was very helpful through the design with lots of good ideas, and materials we didn't think of using. After the job was completed, he continues to maintain the landscape and routinely checks on any deficiencies. He is always accessible by phone or email with a quick response time. We highly recommend him for your home projects!”

There were several changes along the way but Bill was on top of them and they were made in a manor that did not cause delays or disruptions to the project. “We had structural issues with our back yard and retaining wall related to drainage and soil levels. Trent surveyed our yard and provided a plan to resolve the issues and do some landscape redesign. The plans were carried out perfectly. The results are excellent and were completed in a timely fashion by very competent and pleasant people.”

“I am so happy to recommend Lori and Michael from 1 Design Group. We hired them to totally remake our small backyard and we’re completely blown away. Them and their entire team are honest, hardworking, brilliant at design and execution and complete experts at their craft — the total package. We’ve worked with contractors who were awful, but this was such a wonderful experience, start to finish. Plus, we became friends along the way. They really are just incredible people. Oh! And they easily met the deadline we had in place for a huge baby shower we’re throwing. I have told all my friends and family about them and would highly, highly recommended them for any outdoor job you need!”

“Happy Gardens has done several jobs for our front and back yards. They have cleaned up flower beds and planted new plants that look much better and thrive better in our area. We have really appreciated the direct and complete drawings and estimates given to us in advance of work. Then when the work crew comes they are very efficient and leave everything clean every day. The best thing- They are very patient with our dogs!”

“Eric and his crews were terrific to work with. We had a complicated existing layout with a terraced back yard, a lower garden we inherited from the prior owner that ate up any potential play space for our 3 littles, decaying retaining walls, and a pool deck that needed a refresh. We were merely hoping to reclaim our yard, but ended up with what feels like an extra "outdoor room" and totally revitalized spaces that are modern, functional, and absolutely inspiring. Most importantly, Eric was exceedingly professional. When problems arose (as they inevitably will), Eric brought clear communication and, most importantly, multiple solutions to the table, and working through them was never an issue. He knows his stuff! Due to budget, we ended up splitting our project into a few phases, and we will not hesitate in the least to come back to Peola for the rest of our work.”

“When I think of ponds and waterfalls I think only of Water Features of Texas. Mark's understanding of water flowing over natural rocks is impressive to say the least. I have been an advertising photographer in San Antonio, TX which has allowed me to see many ponds and water features over the years so when I decided to have one in my back yard he was the one and only call for me. He didn't let me down as his vision was right on and the tranquil oasis that was created has made the back yard a dream to enjoy.”
