We enjoyed all the help in design and prospectus as well as the ability and insight to do on-project damage control procuring stonework. A special company with a twist on conventional design to go beyond to the WOW factor! Worked with us to achieve a design on a budget! “We would like to highly recommend Serge van der Voo Landscapes! We hired Serge and his team to do a completely new landscape and hardscape at our historic home on Ann Arbor's Old West Side. The work was extensive and Serge was very flexible in agreeing to break it into three phases to be accomplished over two years. The plan he developed was beautiful. He first listened to our likes and dislikes and got to know us. He spent a lot of time at the house and around the neighborhood. The plan he developed was meant to represent the era of the home, this was reflected in the selection of plantings and the overall design. The crews that Serge employed were prompt and courteous and cleaned up each night. Serge went out of his way to update us as the work progressed and to educate us about the care of each planting. Once the work was completed Serge continued to come back and check on things. If there were plantings that did not work as planned Serge explained our options and helped from there. “The team removed some older stone gardens, refurbished the brick work and matched new bricks to fill in the areas left. They then designed a fireplace and bar area within our budget and installed it. All work was done in 9 days. The staff and crew were excellent. They did a great cleanup every day even carefully replacing the fence so our dogs could use the yard each nite. When finished they reseeded and repaired damaged grass areas. We couldn't recommend them more and will look to them for future projects.”

“I hired this company a few weeks ago to build a retaining wall which was about 65 ft by 4 feet. It looks great. Only took about 3 days between tear down of old wall and installation on new one. Very hard working and respectable. Also had him build about a 30 foot garden wall in front. Looks great. Updated my property value and stayed within my budget. Took my vision and made it better. Would recommend to anyone.”

“Teddy's lawn and landscape completed a back patio and added some landscaping out front. He also dealt with some drainage issues we battled with since we moved in a year prior. Our patio looks gorgeous, many neighbors have complimented the workmanship. Exceeded our expectations and was exactly what we ordered. Our front bed also came out looking great! We did have some frost damage but Brent came out and gave us some tips for care and they look like they will survive (they were expensive bushes). Last minute I asked him to look at what he could do for excessive water drainage issues, and it was completed within a day for a very small fee (and works like a charm).”
