“Sylvia's Landscaping was all around terrific. They were always on time and within a very reasonable budget. Her expert workers were polite and went a little beyond their job of a spring (and later, fall) landscape cleanup for a good size property with lots of garden beds. They knew pruning and the finer touches of landscape and plant care. I'd highly recommend them.”

“We have had Exterra do two projects for our home. First was landscaping the front and side of the house. This involved stone work, plantings and a pergola. We were thrilled with beautiful design and the craftsmanship of installation. The plantings have thrived and after 10 years all the work remains intact. Two years ago, we came back to Pete to have a patio put on the back of the house. This was all brick work and Pete's design was great and worked perfect with what was existing. We had some settling on the patio and Exterra was out immediately to fix it and it is great. We love the work Pete has done with design and the guys doing the install were wonderful. We whole heartedly recommend Exterra designs.”

“My husband and I hired Kyle to design and install a patio and fire pit with surrounding plants in our back yard. With an eye for detail and a unique creative ability, Kyle came up with a perfect design for us which complemented our house and deck. Kyle’s clear communication made the project flow seamlessly. We received an initial email detailing each step of the project. Each day he was on job site to monitor the progress and convey any additional information or changes as well as answer any of our questions. The crew was on time daily, worked tirelessly, answered our questions, and cleaned up the yard at the end of each day. The project was within our budget, completed on time and we absolutely love it.”

“We have been a client of Great Oaks for over 5 years. Brian Link and his team are extremely professional. Great Oaks manages all of our landscape and hardscape needs! They service our monthly lawn service as well as, landscape design. We have had them create and install new plantings. They also fulfill our seasonal pot requests beautifully created by Katie. During the winter, Great Oaks installs our holiday light decorations. Overall, Great Oaks is our one stop for outside home beautification!”

“Spirited Gardner Julia Bunn in 2014 helped us design and build a rain garden for our condo that successfully and beautifully diverts storm water into our front yard in Chicago. Julia clearly explained which native plants would do well in our shady, sandy spot, and she provided us a clear map for our new garden. On "dig day" she did an excellent job of corralling our volunteer crew to ensure we correctly dug our rain swale and planted our plants. Julia also provided guidance over the summer on routine care and on how to put our garden to bed for the winter. I'm looking forward to seeing our rain garden evolve as it matures over the years. Overall, hiring Julia has been one of the best investments our condo has made in the past decade.”
