“Very impressed by this firm. It's true to say that they took us 'on a journey', converting our small garden which had become a bit of a 'rewilding project' to something beautiful and usable. Scott visited us, and we decided to go for his design service, and he came up with three plans. Once the garden was cleared of four Leylandii and an apple tree, he came up with a fourth which we ultimately went with. Once the work started, we soon saw that James, the foreman on site, was a real perfectionist, and ably assisted by Jim and Mikey, it was a delight to see a mess transformed into something we're looking forward to using. After completion, we had a couple of minor snagging issues, and all resolved speedily and to our complete satisfaction. Apart from anything else, they're all nice people, and we're missing them already. No hesitation in recommending this firm.”

“We hired Nigel from Cityscapers to design and create a completely new large garden following extensive renovations to our suburban home. He worked closely with us to understand our tastes and what we wanted from the garden, paying attention not just to how it would look, but how we would use it and feel in it when completed. Nigel worked hard to reflect the interior and exterior architecture of the house, using flowing lines, slopes and levels to connect spaces and give structure and meaning to the result. He even incorporated a gurgling stream, with particular attention to the perfect selection and placement of rocks. Nigel also patiently went along with our desire to "own" the result by doing much of the planting ourselves, although I'm sure he'd have done a better job himself. The process has felt very "organic", too, with Nigel eschewing noisy and polluting tools where possible, making sure we started composting and encouraging us to get involved. The end result is a garden that's simply a delight to be in, and we're excited to see it mature and develop under Nigel's guidance. I highly recommend Cityscapers for their design vision and flair, their meticulous attention to detail and total fearlessness in the face of some backbreaking work.”

“Catherine did a great job from beginning to end. I needed to completely change the back and front gardens. She had great ideas on what would work and what would not, how to deliver the look I wanted and how to keep it within budget. I couldn't be more happy with the results. Both gardens look great - the neighbours have all commented on the front garden. She worked well with the builder who did the landscaping. She's also been happy to replace a plant that died and fix an irrigation pipe someone else broke. I cant believe how many plants I have. Given the money available for plants, I expected a small number of small plants, but the garden is full of lovely plants and it looks well established after only 3 months. “Our project was to develop a medium-sized garden, four miles from the Sussex coast, which faces south-west and suffers strong winds, lethal for many plant species, Barry Chambers of Changing Scenes, of Bognor Regis, successfully designed a colourful garden of raised flower beds, mature trees, large shrubs, a vegetable and sitting area and a stone beach with seaside plants, creating a frame for views across fields and glorious sunsets. The work was put out to tender to about five firms, with husband and wife team Keymer Landscapes, of Barnham, Bognor Regis, who I would also recommend, selected. Barry Chambers' knowledge of plants, and their survival in these conditions, is excellent, as is his ability to explain his choices without pretension. The construction and gardening was hands-on supervised by Barry who regularly returns, post-project, to add plants and check the progress of the garden and its maintenance.
