“We hired the services of April House Garden in 2021 to design the landscape of our newly rebuilt cottage. Fast forward to the end of 2023 the garden looks incredibly beautiful which includes a diverse assortment of flowers, plants, and some trees. We are very happy with their services and will contract them again for a second phase of works in 2024. Eduardo and Ana.”

“A fantastic team with great working ethos. Theo came up with the initial design and adjusted where needed and was very knowledgeable with current trends and themes that are representative of the current markets. He created the layout and plantage of the garden which was a complete makeover and transformation. Ethan is incredibly talented at putting the whole piece together and paid attention to the finer details which ultimately ended up creating a masterpiece for my family. A team that is professional, clean, and respectful, one that I recommend most warmly.”

“Max and his team totally transformed our garden constructing a new shed, patio and fencing and laying a new lawn. All the materials used were of the highest quality and we are delighted with the result. Max was a pleasure to work with and had lots of helpful ideas and suggestions. “I had a fairly large border (approx 8m x 5m) which had been neglected for a few years. I wanted to create a low maintenance flower bed and liked the idea of a country garden look. Ben and Paul came round and assessed what was there in terms of position (light/shade), soil and the shrubs which were worth retaining. We also discussed budget. I then received a planting plan with a quotation and commissioned the work. The bed was cleared and planted mid June and I am delighted with the result. I now have a bed which will flower more or less from May to September and will require increasingly less maintenance as it matures. FGD are extremely knowledgeable and gave me advice on other areas of my garden (not areas which will result in work for them). I do have another two areas which do need a makeover and I will certainly commission them to undertake the project.”

“We knew our garden needed a revamp, and we wanted it to be “grown-up” but still welcoming, but had few preconceived ideas. Not being gardeners ourselves, we didn’t have any plant knowledge but knew the styles we did and didn’t like. Peter, through relaxed discussion and an exchange of images, of gardens and plants, somehow managed to gauge the sort of thing we were hoping for. We were genuinely excited by Peter’s design when we saw it on paper and it was a pleasure to see the reality appearing gradually as the work progressed. We now have a garden we love and can be proud of – relaxed and elegant at the same time. Almost a year on, we still smile every time we look out of the window. The garden has remained a wonderful focal point throughout the winter months, thanks to Peter's thoughtful planting, and with Spring not far off, we are looking forward to the bulbs Peter introduced us to putting in an appearance.”

“18 months ago I wanted to change part of my garden which had become overgrown. I decided to contact a young company for ideas , and Stathis suggested that he create a Woodland garden. We discussed a variety of bulbs , ferns , scrubs, and plants that would be appropriate together with a layout. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and I consider it excellent value.”

Helene has done a great job designing and implementing a large, traditional border and shrubbery, advising on garden planning, planting and how a garden might grow in the long term. This is an ongoing relationship so project length and cost are indicative. Top marks. Highly recommended.”

“I found Dean was very helpful and very honest. The front of my house was a mess, the bay window sills were crumbled away and paint was flaking off. Dean explained that he would have to rebuild sills, sand, fill and paint. I'm very happy, he insisted on giving 2 coats of paint even though I was happy with one. I wish Dean well for the future and I have lots more jobs for him. Very skilled man thank you.”
