“Our project was to develop a medium-sized garden, four miles from the Sussex coast, which faces south-west and suffers strong winds, lethal for many plant species, Barry Chambers of Changing Scenes, of Bognor Regis, successfully designed a colourful garden of raised flower beds, mature trees, large shrubs, a vegetable and sitting area and a stone beach with seaside plants, creating a frame for views across fields and glorious sunsets. The work was put out to tender to about five firms, with husband and wife team Keymer Landscapes, of Barnham, Bognor Regis, who I would also recommend, selected. Barry Chambers' knowledge of plants, and their survival in these conditions, is excellent, as is his ability to explain his choices without pretension. The construction and gardening was hands-on supervised by Barry who regularly returns, post-project, to add plants and check the progress of the garden and its maintenance. “I used Simpy Garden Design a few years ago to completely overhaul a very unloved large patio and surrounding borders. Katie is full of inspiration and ideas and created a beautiful area that has great atmosphere...something I would not have felt possible given how unpromising it was before. She is professional, reliable and really listens to what you want, there is no homogeneous, "one size fits all" approach with Katie! I can also say that the patio only gets better with age! Thank you Katie !”

“I hired WH to landscape our garden, which involved removing grass and relaying new lawn, extending flower beds. planting new trees and shrubs; and to modify the front area of the house to create more parking space. WH proved to be very reliable, always advising me ahead of time in case of schedule issue; they work with extra care to minimise the inconvenience and the results are better than expected when I decided the project. I will use them again.”

“Connor managed the team who constructed one of my Japanese garden designs near Ringwood, Dorset. Once we had agreed the hard landscaping materials he clearly laid out his plan for the construction and throughout the project kept me informed of any changes to the plan. He carefully went through my design with me at key points and this resulted in an accurate representation of my design. Whenever there were queries or unexpected issues he checked with me before instructing his team on how to proceed. He developed a good working relationship with both me and the client and was easily contactable to discuss progress and arrange onsite visits to check on the construction. The client was extremely pleased with the finished garden and I look forward to working with him in the future.”

“Surrey Landscape Gardeners removed our existing hedging (which was dying) and replaced it with some fencing including a gate. They were friendly and professional from start to finish and we’re really happy with the quality of the work. I would highly recommend them and we’re going to get them back later in the year to take a look at replacing our driveway.”
