“Margaret and John Larcade created and executed a comprehensive and excellent redesign and update of the interior of the mid-century modern house I live in which was designed by my father. The house is a beautiful house and Margaret's furniture and fabric choices really enhanced the elegant simplicity of the house. Her knowledge of interior design, her familiarity with the most interesting fabrics and furniture sources and her sophisticated understanding of space, color and texture combined with her many years of design experience made the process of redesign inspirational. She and John pay great attention to detail and to the integrity of the space and are at the same time very practical and cost effective about their design solutions. The professionals they brought in for upholstery, painting etc. were all excellent and the companies Margaret works with respect and admire her. Both she and John are very generous with their time and were patient and careful to make sure that my husband and I were pleased and comfortable with each aspect of the design process. Margaret and John also did a wonderful job of creating solutions for some of the design challenges that were presented. They created a more comfortable and intimate space in our "pass through" dining room, they designed furniture and shelf inserts in our den and they commissioned an iconic piece of wall art made from vintage Knoll fabric from my father's office for our Living Room. The finished product achieves exactly what I hoped it would achieve, to honor my father's house. I love every aspect of the design and have great respect for them both. I highly recommend them and will be using them myself in the future.”

“We retained Ann's services when we moved into our new home this year. We had never worked with an interior designer before and most designers we interviewed either had a price point that we didn't think was reasonable or couldn't start the project for 6+ months. We met with Ann in-person and decided to retain her services the same day. Overall, Ann did a phenomenal job while sticking to our budget. I believe Ann is a unique designer because she has the ability to be creative while also being incredibly organized. Both my wife and I are very organized but Ann take it to another level (in a very good way) - as an example, I called Ann while our AV people were mounting TVs and within 10 minutes, we had a schematic on where exactly the TVs should be mounted in order to balance the TV with the rest of the decor. I felt that her ability to stay organized ensured that we didn't waste time or money. She also came to the table with creative ideas to execute on our vision - as an example, when we couldn't find a dinning table we liked, she helped us get in touch with a local craftsman that custom-made a dinning table & side-board within our budget. Overall, I would highly recommend Ann to anyone who is looking to retain an interior designer - she is not in it for the money and she really want to make sure the end product is in line with the client's vision.
