“Vahena is a very professional, gifted and passionate interior architect. We needed to remodel an outdated 1960's house we had recently purchased to make it our home and Vahena provided great input as much in terms of spatial design and layout as in terms of kitchen or bathroom design. She provided concept boards, samples for all the materials she recommended, costing for all the furniture and fittings, from floorings to bathroom tiles, kitchen to bathroom furniture and fittings, light fixtures to window treatments. She challenged us to step out of our comfort zone on some aspects of the design and we are so happy we did: the bespoke staircase she designed for us is one of the most stunning elements of our new home. Vahena is truly easy to work with and made the project hassle and stress-free for us! I wish we had used her services with our previous property, it would have avoided us a lot of headaches and time spent working with the architect, sourcing and managing a builder - all that with both my husband and I having a very young family and 2 full-time jobs. “We gave Rhian a brief that outlined our lifestyle requirements together with some key words that reflected us as people and what we wanted from the project. Her interpretation of the brief in her proposal took that and delivered in ways both thrilling and unexpected. It was emotional. It was a completely five star experience. We spent several hours going through her proposal for the apartment, talking through the various mood boards she presented, discussing colour, design, pattern and light. The proposal was highly professional and took due account of the technical aspects of these issues, especially with regard to light, which is an issue in our property. The proposal also demonstrated a sympathetic level of creativity – it reflected who we are and want to be rather than who the designer is, which was a concern we had at the beginning of the process. In short - Rhian got us. Not having done something like this before, we were uncertain about the process. We need not have worried. The communication at the presentation and over the following weeks has been exemplary. We are more than happy with the value for money we have received.”

“Had a fantastic experience working with Nina the last 5 months on a renovation project in central Bath. Nina did the initial concept for the whole project (90 sqm 2 bedrooms split level flat), paint colour consultation, sourced carpets, blinds, tiles, furniture and decorations. We also had a professional photoshoot which Nina acted as stylist for the day. Not only is Nina extremely knowledgeable, she also understands our requirements very well, she's conscious of our budget, and tries to add value where it created most impact. I'm sure we saved £££ due to her great furniture sourcing skills. She's also a lovely person, very approachable and friendly. It was honestly a pleasure to work with her. “We’d been planning on changing our bathroom for some time but the bathroom companies we’d approached hadn’t been able to produce a design we liked. The space had to be totally redesigned, to enable us to have a large shower, plenty of storage and a clean, modern look. Anna worked really well with us, and quickly came up with a proposal which met our requirements and made much better use of the space, despite various challenges. She had lots of good ideas and suggested a wide range of fixtures and fittings. Anna provided us different budget options, giving us good flexibility on how much we wanted to spend. We particularly liked the fact that she obtained quotes from three different contractors and project managed the works from start to finish. We never thought we could afford an interior designer, but because Anna bought everything at discounted prices this covered most of her fees. We are extremely happy with the service Anna provided as she interpreted our brief brilliantly.”

“I wanted to convert a very dull and crowded spare room/playroom into a relaxing 'sanctuary' for myself and guests; Mandy immediately saw where I was coming from and was in on the project from the start. With an eye for details and a real feel for the person, she carefully put together two different scenarios of environments where I've felt most relaxed - a beach theme and a mountain theme. The mood boards she created were beautiful and I found it difficult to choose between the two themes, though the mountain room she envisaged gave me the restfulness coupled with the cosiness that I wanted. Mandy then measured up and carefully observed how the natural light fell, as well as coming up with clever suggestions on how to deal with elements of the room that couldn't be changed - e.g. the dormer window and the sloping ceilings. From here she worked up a floor plan with soft shapes and functional, but relaxing furnishing ideas. Never forcing her thoughts on me, I had plenty of free range to add my own touches and she showed me how to use colours and the way they can work together. I was much more adventurous than I have been before! It felt like we really worked together as a team to achieve the finished results. So, my 'sanctuary' includes a bed (so we can still welcome guests), a seating/TV/gaming area (where the big kids can still relax, but their paraphernalia is low key/hidden), a reading area with a comfortable chair and footstool, and coffee table (reclaimed and painted). There's a variety of textures and soft colours using mainly greys and dusky pinks and other natural colours. My favourite part is the main wall featuring a mural of a mountain range in silhouette in soft dawn tones. I absolutely love it - as do my guests and kids! I highly recommend Mandy and her work. Her designs are beautiful, thoughtful and functional; whilst she provides plenty of her own ideas she is keen to incorporate your own too. I'll definitely be using Mandy again.”
