Brooke Probst Interiors

“Brooke is the best! We had the absolute pleasure of working with Brooke Probst Interiors on a remote project for our rental property in Brooklyn, NY. Given our busy schedule, we opted for a Zoom-based collaboration, which turned out to be both convenient and effective. Our project involved a complete renovation and gutting of the bathroom in our 1890's Brooklyn townhouse. Our primary goal was to create a bathroom that would be renter-friendly while maintaining an authentic feel in line with the home's historical period. What we particularly appreciated was the creative process and the array of options that Brooke presented while staying within our budget. With Brooke's expertise and incredible sense of possibility, our vision was brilliantly brought to life! We highly recommend hiring Brooke for all your interior design needs. Her work (vision, style, and professionalism) exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Brooke, we can't wait to work with you again!”

“Emmy was contracted to design the Youth Playroom at our shelter. In creating the plan; she was intentional about understanding the function of the space as well as our vision for it. When we were unclear about our vision; she worked to give suggestions of directions we could go in. She worked within our budget to find pieces that were functional yet aesthetically pleasing. Throughout the entire process, Emmy was professional and communicated consistently to ensure we were satisfied with her services.”

“I can't begin to express all the ways in which Holbrook Interior Design has supported me, my business, and my home interiors. Design setup for my homes (3) and business, branding for business, rebranding fir business years later, and a location move for my business, are all examples of times I have called on Holbrook for support with everything from color, brand, remodel design, furniture layout, plant display, walls (murals, decals, wall hangings), website, patient forms, mood boards, logos, and so much more! There just seems to be no limit to what this team can achieve. Additionally, the feedback I received from friends, family and patients was constant and glowing. We were always ahead of the trends and right on for the spaces. I literally felt like it was the best business decision I could have made, calling on support to make my space and all the other elements of my business and home consistent throughout the experiences. The team is very professional and supportive, not only with your timely design needs but they also experts at supporting your vision, invoking a feeling, and telling a story through design. I felt supported as a leader and could call on Holbrook for support with personnel, training, and general problem solving as things came up. Thank you Holbrook and good luck to others out there as you launch your dream, Holbrook is the partner you want!”

“Amy helped us stage our home to sell. She was pleasant, personable, professional and has beautiful style! She listens to what your goals are and sticks to it. She possesses much talent and is very thorough. I really can't say enough good things about Amy! It didn't take long for our house to sell after she worked with us. We were so happy with the process and the end result that we hired her a second time to help make our new home beautiful. We highly recommend Amy Pearson Design for any of your home design needs/desires.”

“Ann Mcculloch is an amazing designer. We hired her to help us with a major remodel of our home. She was with us every step of the process including architectural plans, obtaining permits, and finishing selections (tile, flooring, windows, fixtures, drapes, etc). She also helped us with updating our business with paint and furniture selection and signage. We will definitely use Ann McCulloch Studios in the future.”

“Aleta has the perfect combination of excellent taste and great communication skills. We wanted to hire her to design our bath remodel because we wanted her fresh and sophisticated style to temper any too-safe or too-trendy impulses we might have. She really exceeded our expectations. Our bathroom is small and the parameters we gave her were restrictive but she delivered a design that made the small space the jewel of our home.”
Janet Greenblatt Interiors ASID

“hired Janet for approximately one year after she was referred to me by my realtor when I purchased a new residence in Santa Monica . I retained Janet as a designer and project manager for a complete remodel of a 2-bedroom condominium. The first thing that impressed me about Janet was her professionalism. She was always prepared, organized and presented several options when discussing a key decision point or project management issue. Her experience and business maturity helped to navigate through an arduous permitting process with the City of Santa Monica . Further, she anticipated questions and/or obstacles and presented recommendations to best deal with a given situation. In nearly every case, I simply followed her recommendation as it had clearly been carefully considered; I grew to trust her judgment completely. In addition to her professional demeanor, Janet possesses a creative eye that she effortlessly matches with the tastes and preferences of her client. Design decisions quickly became “rubber stamp” processes for me as her client – her selections were almost always synchronized with my own style. When our opinions differed, Janet was always the consummate professional and offered pros, cons or demurred as appropriate. As I mentioned earlier, I grew to trust Janet – not only as a design consultant, but also as a business professional and human being. As an example, in an instance where a contractor legitimately misinterpreted the intent of some instructions, Janet stepped in and personally covered the extra expense. She holds a high standard of integrity, and can always be trusted to do the right thing.”
Vicki Simon Interior Design

“I have employed Vicki Simon's interior design talents twice--once with a small Victorian house that she rehabilitated with care and then, after I downsized, in an apartment that she turned into a stunning display for my art collection. When I moved into a plainer-than-vanilla apartment in Portland’s Pearl district, I asked Vicki's help in warming it up and making it my own. She turned it into a stunning setting for my large art collection. I collect German expressionist prints and contemporary works on paper and Vicki helped me edit and place key pieces in a way that highlighted them dramatically. Additionally, she suggested furniture (Cassina sofa, ebony console) and designed a custom rug in deep, rich tones that made the apartment feel like a collector’s salon, as opposed to the bland stopping place for twentysomethings that the complex really was. It was all achieved through the magic of a trained designer’s eye and her knowledge of the possibilities of color, texture, and contrast. She also had sources for exquisite one-of-a-kind items from all over the world— a handmade blanket, a hexagonal bowl—that added the little touches so important to pulling together an entire look with a real aesthetic. The end result was a living space that expressed my likes and wants and highlighted the items and pieces I feel most attached to. Earlier with the small Victorian house, Vicki displayed her fabulous sense of how to unearth the possibilities of a home, especially when it has been muddled by renovations and cheap materials. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to express the good bones of their house and have it come across as their own. From recycled hardware to salvaged Victorian trim to new doorway dimensions, her discoveries and options really added up to something more than just the cool little parts.”
