“When we decided to build our “up north” retirement home, we approached Brad Butcher and Sidock Architects because we had seen some of Brad’s work in a magazine and liked his designs. It didn’t take us long to realize that we had make the right choice. Brad is not only a talented architect, but he is very creative and a good listener. He took all of our “likes”, “dislikes”, notes, and clippings and turned them into the perfect home for us. It not only fits our lifestyle and allows us to “age in place”, but it is the quintessential northern Michigan home and fits perfectly into our riverside location. At the end of that process, Brad not only delivered a high quality design to us, but helped us find the right builder to implement it. He and his team also provided support throughout the build process, which allowed us to live 250 miles away and not have to worry about how things were going. We could not have been happier with our design and build team, which made the entire project a great experience.
