“We had to do a complete overhaul of our home. Because of health issues, we were confined to only using non toxic materials. Sounds simple...au contraire. It requires major research for all materials including paints, flooring stains, fabrics, furniture, etc. And, it is very distressing how limited it is out there for non-toxic material. So, creating a non-toxic environment that is safe and GORGEOUS is a very tough fete. And, all the while, Orrick and Company, Alicia, Myles, Lish, Mary, Beatrice, and Devney have made this, what could have been a stressful experience a delight. While we are not yet installed (hence no pictures below), I will be happy to supply when we are completed next month. Orrick and Company should win hands down! Amazing company!”

“I strongly endorse Tara Benet for any residential or commercial project. I have worked with Tara over the past 5 years. She has designed and decorated my homes in New York and Florida, and my law offices in New York and Florida as well. Tara is extraordinarily talented. As you may know she is an artist who brings all of her incredible abilities to the decorative world. She creates a unique living and working space that brings much happiness and enjoyment. More than anything else, Tara creates livable and workable space that exudes positive energy. It is a special joy to work with her. I also want to emphasize that Tara's approach is iterative and collaborative. I never felt that she was trying to dictate design or creative ideas. Rather she listens and works with clients to find out what we want. I think this is a very unique and special style. Tara takes the time to talk to and understand client needs. She is also very careful to work within reasonable and realistic budgets. At the end of the process, I have always felt a special connection to the places I live and work in because I was brought into the creative process. “We had an amazing experience with DesignbyRUCHI. We reached out to her to design a nursery for our soon to arrive daughter. Ruchi came on board quickly and showed us multiple options within our budget and made everything on our wishlist fit in the room (which wasn’t huge to start with). She was a thorough professional with an eye for detail. Throughout the project, Ruchi was very flexible with our choices and guided us through it all. She was always very quick to respond to emails and messages and really thought about everything. We would highly recommend DesignbyRUCHI and work with her on our future design projects.”

“I have a television production business and we shoot many of our lifestyle and cooking shows in our house. it had to look great. Douglas saved me - he assessed what i had - a lot of mid century furniture - and used it as the backbone to unify our rooms into sleek, contemporary spaces that were both family friendly and appropriate for our 100 year old house.. Moreover, he worked with my crazy schedule - i literally had no time whatsoever to focus on my house. Ten years later it still looks fresh because his choices were never hackneyed or trite. I love it so much and can honestly say what he did improved the quality of our lives in ways that can't be measured.”
