“Linda Stimson and Inner Visions Interiors were amazing in planning and finishing my home renovation projects. From the rooms that just needed a decorator's eye in paint color selection to the total makeover my dining room and kitchen needed, Linda was thorough and professional. I liked all the workmen she recommended and she supervised them and stood by their work. We communicated and worked together well which is so important.”

“I used Hestya for interior design, and I have to say that I was very happy with it. Their prices were very affordable, and the turnaround time was quick, which was great for me because I was on a tight timeline. Their style quiz reflects my personal style accurately, and it helped the interior designer come up with a design that was just right for me. The final design was top-notch, and I couldn't be happy with how things turned out. I highly suggest Hestya to anyone who wants a great service for home design.”

“Ali worked with me on color and design as my husband and I remodeled an 1845 Greek Revival home. We wanted to keep some of the 1950's elements that were in the house while recreating some of the original grandeur of the home. Ali was up for the challenge! It was such a pleasure working with her. She understood our budget and worked within it. She helped us make budget decisions as to where it would be more effective to put our money from a design perspective. She has a real gift when it comes to color. She worked with me on picking out all of our rooms colors (13 of them!). We were starting from zero. I wanted our home to be anything but beige. I wanted it colorful but had no idea how to choose the colors so that they were unified but different throughout our home. She did an amazing job. I wanted to keep the tile in our 1950's kitchen, but still have the kitchen look like it belonged to the rest of the house. She picked out a wall paper that ties the whole area together. I think it looks fantastic. Finally, she was a breath of fresh air, joy and calmness through this whole process. She was confident in her choices and able to deal with contractors who wanted to take an easier path at times. I highly recommend Ali.!”

“We moved to Newburyport last year from a large farm house to a much smaller house. Not only was the space smaller but a bit funky as well. We needed to get rid of some of our bigger furniture and get more compact furniture. Needless to say, we were somewhat overwhelmed. We hired Kami to help us figure out what would work and what wouldn’t and how to place things. She has a great eye and was very gentle when we couldn’t see her vision. She helped with brainstorming, placement researching places that would have what we were looking for. With her help and vision we have a beautiful home that flows with ease. Kami was professional and very easy to work with!”

For all the people I have hired to help who don't do it quite right for what you invest in time and money, it's rare to find someone who really delivers, and the result of working with her was well above my expectations. I can't say enough about the impact of the work she did - not just on how things look, but how they function - custom fit to my own daily habits and preferences. That's how she stands out. You want things to look nice, but there's a hidden level that makes all the difference: how you uniquely operate in your home/office/garage/basement (Yes, she can even peek at those spaces and suggest a few things that can transform it from overwhelming to functional. Amazing!). Her gift is observing and listening to how you use your space and making what you have work, adding just exactly what you need to make it optimal. So it's not just about a great chair, window treatments or cabinet - it's that the cabinet is at the right height for you, that not only looks nice but that also fits how you USE it. “My husband and I worked with Jessica Ford on design for our new house beginning during significant construction and renovation and continuing after all construction was completed. She helped us on all kinds of design and style choices, ranging from choice of paint colors for the various rooms, lighting and fixtures, window treatments, and choice of indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings. Jessica is a pleasure to work with: she communicates clearly, pays close attention to detail and really thinks through her recommendations. Importantly, her fee structure does not contain any perverse incentives and we never had the sense that she was motivated by anything other than beautiful design choices. We would recommend Jessica without hesitation!”
