“Jennifer was great to work with! We completely renovated our Master Bedroom and Boys Bathroom and Jennifer did the entire plan and was there to implement it over the course of the complete project. We really loved Jen’s suggestions in terms of what she picked out for us, and she has an amazing eye for color. She put together the plan, ordered all of the materials (tile, mirrors, bath, fixtures, window treatments, etc.), then helped our builder make sure it was all installed the way we wanted. “Our first floor renovation was really awesome, but my husband and I realized that as beautiful as our new home was; we were in desperate need of new furnishings. The gorgeous coffer ceilings, the crown moldings with white wooden balls, the grand fireplace and built ins were all so beautiful, but our home was empty and the furniture we owned was obviously dated. So, we embarked on every furniture store we could think of and we were met with frustration. We were depressed because we felt that now we had the home of our dreams, but it was but an empty shell. One Sunday, my husband said there is one furniture store we haven't looked into.....Ethan Allen. So, with hope tucked under out arm we entered the gorgeous store. A young woman approached us and asked if she could help. Help? She had no idea at the time how much help we needed. We talked, she listened. She found out about our interests, our hobbies, our loves and who we were as individuals. Then she came to our home, and looked around and measured and took notes and pictures.. In a week she called us and asked us to come into the store and see what she had found. Delora Bishop took us to a corner of the store where she had collected pictures, fabrics, furnishings and drawings of what she felt should be in our new home. Dennis and I looked at each other and then at Delora. Everything was perfect. She had captured Dennis's love of sailing with nautical colors and stripes, a gorgeous sloop by a respected artist now hangs above our couch. The pillows have a touch of floral to represent my love of gardening. The tables mimic the round balls that caress my moldings. The red seats on the metal chairs at the island tie in with the red knobs on the Wolf stove. Our gorgeous couch in the family room with this awesome cream leather ottoman gets so many compliments. No one could help us...no one...Delora did. She is so bright, knowledgeable, organized, responsible, talented and kind that I have the up most regard for her abilities. She did it all within our budget. She captured the essence of our loves. Our home is gorgeous because of her. Dennis and I feel so fortunate to have found her. We feel blessed that she was the one who greeted us when we walked through the door of Ethan Allen. She cares and devotes endless hours to making it right. She is a gifted artist.”
