Benavides Design House turned our unfinished basement into a beautiful space complete with an art room for the kids, spare bedroom, entertainment room, pool table/game room and a wine cellar wall. They did renderings for us ahead of time so that we could really see what our space would look like. They sat down with us and made sure we were comfortable and got to know our style before they made recommendations. They were flexible enough to put up with our last minute change of heart on a few decisions. They were also very responsive to our calls and emails throughout the process. Plus when we first moved to the South Jersey area, we paid almost double the hourly fee for a designer so we consider BDH to be very competitively priced. You can not go wrong with this talented pair!!”

First, her initial visit to our home allowed for her to ascertain our style and preferences. She knew our personality in our home within the hour and took meticulous notes. Secondly, the details she provided in the contract were a huge relief to us. There were no unanswered questions. Gray Space provides not just the design concept, but also clearing of unnecessary items, critical when selling/staging a home. “I hired Kelly Nelson Designs for window treatments. Kelly listened carefully to my parameters (budget/color/style/timeframe) and brought me samples and options that reflected my wishes. The Firm delivered the shades on time, and on budget. Kelly arranged for installation at my convenience. When she came to view the installation, her eye for detail was evident. I was perfectly happy with the new shades, but she thought they should be an inch lower. (Kelly was right). She knew I was taking a vacation the following week and arranged to have the shades rehung while I was away to minimize the inconvenience to me and my family. While this was a relatively small job for the Firm, I did not feel in any way that my work was unimportant to them.
